Before the sun goes down
I need just a little more
Please give me a little more
I can't stop
I just can't put you down
I'll take just a little more
(Boy) you have what
Live tonight like it's only us
Who see there is no tomorrow
Out of sight, we're gone
Never let these wild things go
Don't wake up
I know I'm dreaming
Why wake up
And lose the feeling
Lift me up
The crowd are screaming
Wake me up
If I'm still breathing (now)
One last hit
Before I leave this town
Our bodies pressed to the floor
Can I get a little more
One last taste
I just can't put you down
I'll take me a little more
(Boy) you have what
I come here for
Live tonight like it's only us
Who see there is no tomorrow
Out of sight, we're gone
Never let these wild things go
Don't wake up
I know I'm dreaming
Why wake up
And lose the feeling
Lift me up
The crowd are screaming
Wake me up
If I'm still breathing (now)
Live tonight like it's only us
Who see there is no tomorrow
Out of sight, we're gone
Never let these wild things go
Don't wake up
I know I'm dreaming
Why wake up
And lose the feeling
Lift me up
The crowd are screaming
Wake me up
If I'm still breathing
Live tonight like it's only us
Who see there is no tomorrow
Out of sight, we're gone
Never let these wild things go
Don't wake up
I know I'm dreaming
Why wake up
And lose the feeling
Lift me up
The crowd are screaming
Wake me up
If I'm still breathing
Don't wake up
I know I'm dreaming
Don't wake up
I know I'm dreaming
Why wake up
And lose the feeling
Why wake up
"I love the feeling"
The lyrics of Tetsuya Komuro's song "STILL BREATHING" explore the intense desire to live in the present moment and indulge in temporary pleasures. The song starts with a plea for one last kiss before the day ends, expressing a strong craving for more. The singer admits their inability to let go of their obsession and seeks to prolong the experience with the person they are addressing. The verses emphasize the urgency and desire to live uninhibitedly, even if it means getting lost in wild and reckless behavior.
The chorus captures the essence of the song's message. The singer encourages the listener to live as if there is no tomorrow, to embrace the fleeting moments and refuse to let go of their impulsive desires. They reject the idea of waking up from this dreamlike state, fearing that it would mean losing the intense feeling of being alive. The lyrics also suggest that the singer seeks validation and a sense of exhilaration from the admiration of others, as indicated by the line "Lift me up, the crowd are screaming."
Overall, "STILL BREATHING" conveys a sense of longing for living life to the fullest, embracing the temporary thrills and desires that make one feel alive. It emphasizes the importance of being present in the moment, defying conventional norms and seeking intense experiences, even if they are transient.
