I can't give a nigga my trust
Ayy, oh
Ayy, oh, oh no
Yeah (ayy)
Oh
Ayy, yeah
Ayy, ayy
I been tellin' niggas lies (yeah)
Try to split up all my time (yeah)
With two or three guys (yeah)
'Cause I can't make up my mind, I know
I'm so indecisive (ayy, yeah)
And I know that you don't like it (ayy, uh huh)
And I never let my guard down (ayy)
But you steady tryna wife it, oh no (ayy)
Don't you see that I got baggage?
My heart's way too hard to manage, oh no
I can't give a nigga my trust (I can't)
Said you workin' to change that, but just
Bare wit' me (bare, bare, bare)
You gotta bare wit' me (bare, bare, bare)
Oh, bare wit' me, oh (bare, bare, bare)
Baby, just (ayy), oh, just (ayy)
Bare wit' me (bare wit' me, bare wit' me, bare)
You gotta bare wit' me (bare wit' me, bare wit' me, bare)
Oh, bare wit' me, yeah (bare wit' me, bare wit' me, bare)
Baby, just (ayy), just (ayy)
Oh
Oh, oh no
Yeah, oh
Baby, just (bare), just
Niggas, niggas, niggas wrapped around a finger
I don't think I get it (I don't think I get it)
If you was in the picture, maybe I would listen
Times I wish I didn't
Memory started
Bare wit' me through heartbreaks
Bare wit' me through long days
Bare wit' me, don't part ways
Niggas, niggas, niggas wrapped around a finger
I don't think I get it
In Teyana Taylor's song Bare Wit Me, she sings about her struggle to trust men because of her past emotional baggage. She confesses to telling lies and being indecisive when it comes to choosing a partner, causing her to split her time between multiple men. She recognizes that she has a difficult personality and that her heart is too hard to manage, but she still wants her potential partner to stick around and work through it with her. The chorus emphasizes this request, where she urges her partner to "bare with me" through the heartbreak and long days.
The first verse of the song shows how Teyana struggles to trust men, even though her partner is trying to change her mind. She acknowledges that her guard is up all the time and that she has baggage that makes it hard for her to open up to someone. Despite admitting her faults, she still wants her partner to stay with her and help her work through her issues.
In the second verse, she sings about how men are wrapped around her finger, but she doesn't understand why they are so drawn to her. She wishes that she could listen to them more and not have to rely on her memories to guide her decisions. She again emphasizes the importance of her partner sticking around through the hard times and not giving up on their relationship.
Overall, the song is a plea for patience and understanding in a relationship, even when things get tough. Teyana Taylor wants her partner to see past her flaws and stick around to work through their issues together.
