The 4/4 project was music richard mallet started making programmed music wi… Read Full Bio ↴The 4/4 project was music richard mallet started making programmed music with the help of matt lucas through the 1990 s , starting off creating house music, they used to be called kong records and then richard mallet decided to change the name to project records, the vocals were done by matty james, which were his first attempt at being recorded, technology has moved forward since then...this music was well ahead of its time , seeing as drum and bass vocal tracks are only starting to come through, Richard mallet lived in Bristol most of his life , so the music is a very Bristol sound...this site is maintained by matty james, with his 4 other sites, I know that at the time this music was made we werent exactly having an easy time of it living in frome in somerset, people like to put you down rather than give you a helping hand...the music is about spritual matters, love peace and an end to war, when Richard mallet and Matty james went into abbey road studios london and had music played by the world famous John peel it gave us inspiration, this project was funded by Richard mallet on his own and he should be credited for all his efforts.
