This was MY song back in 2009 when I was 22. There was a Goth/Alternative club I loved to go out to and party the nights with my friends. The club had a special party every month which was called "Hellsinki Vampires Party" where the DJ (a nice dude by the artist name of DJ Glampire Tom, huge fan and also close friends with The 69 Eyes) only played Scandinavian rock/metal. I was the only one with a 69 Eyes jacket (bearing the famous Ankh on the back) and many people recognised me just because of that. I'd always request this song and storm the dancefloor. Many people joined me as soon as they heard the intro and saw "the guy with the 69 Eyes jacket" (:D) and danced like hell. I have many memories from these days and the parties. Some of them are bad but the majority are good. I also met my wife in that club. We're together for 13 years now and have two lovely kids. Unfortunately the Hellsinki Vampires Party was cut from the program when the club's owner had changed in 2015(?). This year as a result of the pandemic the club's location is no more and the club itself (Not the original but successor number 2) is without any location at the moment. I really wish it will some day become like back in the day...
