The group got together for the first time in late April 2006, releasing the single Good Idea. According to the official website (www.the7thguest.ca), The 7th Guest is currently in the process of recording a demo album (titled The End of the Road) and performing live in the Greater Vancouver Region.
The name The 7th Guest is also often confused with the soundtrack from the computer game "The 7th Guest" by Trilobyte. Although the band's name was inspired by the 1993 game, the band has no connection with the game's creators or the game's composer 'Fat Man' (George A. Sanger).
