In 2005, The Adams released their self-titled debut album, featuring the singles "Konservatif" and "Waiting," both of which were also featured in the hit movie Janji Joni. Later in the year, Beni left to focus on his duties as drummer for The Upstairs, while Bimo moved to Bali to continue his studies. Karon ’N Roll guitarist Arfan (or Apoy) was drafted as bassist, Gigih Suryoprayogo Setiadi (alias Kiting) of It’s Different Class took over Bimo’s place behind the drumkit, and live keyboardist Retiara Haswidya Nasution (a.k.a Kaka) was promoted to full-time member.
In 2006, The Adams’ new line-up released v2.05, which expanded their old sound with more elaborate song structures and swirling five-part harmonies. With the hit singles "Halo Beni," "Hanya Kau" and "Selamat Pagi Juwita" and their electrifying live shows, The Adams have become one of Indonesia’s most exciting bands.
After a long hiatus in 2008 to work on other projects, The Adams are now back and ready to make more music and reconnect with their fans who have been awaiting their return.

Tiada kabar berita
Kucari engkau ku gelisah
Oh, tadi kau keluar rumah
Dan tidak bersama teman
Khawatir nanti di jalan
Karena baru ku saksikan
Berita di TV siang
Sungguh tidak menyenangkan
Dimana engkau gerangan
Lalu malampun tiba
Telepon menyala, kau disana
Oh, tadi kau keluar rumah
Dan tidak bersama teman
Khawatir nanti di jalan
Karena baru ku saksikan
Berita di TV siang
Sungguh tidak menyenangkan
Dimana engkau gerangan
Lalu malampun tiba
Telepon menyala, kau disana
The lyrics to The Adams's song "Kau Di Sana" express the singer's anxiety and worry for someone they care about who has gone missing. The opening lines, "Hey, dimanakah engkau gerangan / Tiada kabar berita / Kucari engkau ku gelisah" ("Hey, where in the world are you / There is no news / I search for you, I'm restless"), introduce the theme of uncertainty and concern. The singer is searching for the person and feels anxious because they have not heard from them.
The second verse focuses on the last time the singer saw the person, "Oh, tadi kau keluar rumah / Dan tidak bersama teman /Khawatir nanti di jalan / Karena baru ku saksikan" ("Oh, you left the house earlier / Without your friends / I'm worried about you on the road / Because I just witnessed it"). The singer is worried that the person is in danger because they left without their friends and the singer witnessed something concerning.
As the night grows darker, the singer becomes increasingly anxious and turns to the news for answers, "Berita di TV siang / Sungguh tidak menyenangkan / Dimana engkau gerangan / Lalu malampun tiba / Telepon menyala, kau disana" ("The midday news was really unpleasant / Where could you be / Then night fell / The phone lights up, and it's you"). The person who has gone missing calls the singer, relieving their worries.
Overall, "Kau Di Sana" is a heartfelt song that captures the emotions of anxiety and concern for a loved one who has disappeared. The lyrics are filled with vivid imagery and a strong emotional resonance that makes it a beloved song among fans.
