In 2005, The Adams released their self-titled debut album, featuring the singles "Konservatif" and "Waiting," both of which were also featured in the hit movie Janji Joni. Later in the year, Beni left to focus on his duties as drummer for The Upstairs, while Bimo moved to Bali to continue his studies. Karon ’N Roll guitarist Arfan (or Apoy) was drafted as bassist, Gigih Suryoprayogo Setiadi (alias Kiting) of It’s Different Class took over Bimo’s place behind the drumkit, and live keyboardist Retiara Haswidya Nasution (a.k.a Kaka) was promoted to full-time member.
In 2006, The Adams’ new line-up released v2.05, which expanded their old sound with more elaborate song structures and swirling five-part harmonies. With the hit singles "Halo Beni," "Hanya Kau" and "Selamat Pagi Juwita" and their electrifying live shows, The Adams have become one of Indonesia’s most exciting bands.
After a long hiatus in 2008 to work on other projects, The Adams are now back and ready to make more music and reconnect with their fans who have been awaiting their return.
Lega
The Adams Lyrics

Tinggallah kenangan
Lihat diriku
Pribadi yang baru
Sekarang waktuku
Menyulap tanda tanya
Si gembira hari
Tak takut lagi
Tenang tenang saja
Problema yang lama
Tak lagi menggangguku
Sehat diriku
Sehatlah pikiran
Segar rasanya
Hirup kebebasan
The lyrics to The Adams's song Lega tell the story of someone who has successfully moved on from their past worries and anxieties. They reflect on their past and acknowledge the memories that they must leave behind, but also emphasize the importance of embracing new beginnings and a fresh perspective. The singer is excited to start anew and feels liberated from the problems that once held them back. They encourage themselves to be positive and fearless in the face of new challenges.
The lyrics are simple yet powerful, with the use of repetition to emphasize the message of moving on and letting go. The chorus, "sehat diriku, sehatlah pikiran, segar rasanya, hirup kebebasan" ("healthy me, healthy mind, feeling fresh, breathe in freedom"), is a reminder to take care of oneself and focus on the present moment. The overall message of the song is one of hope and renewal, a reassuring anthem for anyone going through a tough time.
