Choti Si Meri Duniya Chota Sa Ye Jahaan,
Kitno Ke Sapno Ko
Le kar hu main chala,
Kitno Ke Sapno Ko
Le kar hu main chala,
Darr hai ki chhoote na koi sapna tera mera,
Choti Si Meri Duniya Chota Sa Ye Jahaan,
Kitno Ke Sapno Ko
Le kar hu main chala,
Darr hai ki chhoote na koi sapna tera mera,
Darr hai ki chhoote na koi sapna tera mera,
Duur hai vo aasman ab duur hai zameen,
Dil kabhi bechain kabhi aankhon me nami,
Duur hai vo aasman ab duur hai zameen,
Dil kabhi bechain kabhi aankhon me nami,
Aansu ban bikhre sapne yahin kahin,
Jaanu na main ghalat hai kya aur kya sahi
Aansu ban bikhre sapne yahin kahin,
Jaanu na main ghalat hai kya aur kya sahi
Sapno ka ghar hai,
Ghar hai to sab hai,
Ye nahi to meri zindagi besudh hai,
Bas hai itna mera sapna
Khwaabon ka jo ghar hai,
Baate koi apna,
Darr hai ki chhoote na koi apna yahan mera,
Darr hai ki chhoote na koi apna yahan mera.
Chhoti si meri duniya
Chhota sa ye jahaan,
Kitno ke sapno ko
Le kar hu main chala,
Darr hai ke chhoote na koi sapna tera mera,
Darr hai ke chhoote na koi sapna tera mera.
The lyrics of The Anirudh Varma Collective's song "Homecoming" are filled with reflections about finding oneself and what home really means. The opening lines, "Choti Si Meri Duniya Chota Sa Ye Jahaan," which translates to "This little world of mine, this little universe," relate to the notion that one's existence is small in the grand scheme of things. The singer then confesses that he has taken the dreams of many people with him and is afraid that none of them come true. The line "Darr hai ki chhoote na koi sapna tera mera" which means "I am scared that none of your and my dreams come true," seems to suggest that he is carrying the burden of fulfilling not only his own dreams but the hopes of others as well.
As the song progresses, the singer becomes more reflective, acknowledging that happiness is not guaranteed, and that his heart and mind are often in conflict as he deals with the distance between the sky and the earth. He wonders if crying and dreaming in despair is the right way or not. He uses the metaphor of tears to describe how hopes and dreams are scattered everywhere like droplets. The last two stanzas of the song convey a sense of hope, with the singer saying that if he has a home for his dreams, he has everything he needs, and even though there is a fear that he may lose the people he holds dear, he is still ready to move forward.

This has to be one of the most gorgeous songs ever. Made me feel so many things, just the way it did on day 1. Also this video made me smile and feel sooo grateful for music and friendship , and at the same time brought my face to face with things I have felt throughout this crazy life ride.. in a more nostalgic/ hard hitting/truth bomb way. Love you all sooooooooo dearly. β€οΈ

Loved every aspect of this song n video. Lyrics, arrangement, composition, videography, editing, location, costumes (keeping it simple and elegant) and the pleasant faces in it. It sure will be loved by the urban millennials that it portrays as well as the elders. A youth-appealing yet decent n aesthetic effort.
