In 1968, Filmation produced "The Archie Show", a Saturday morning cartoon based upon the Archie comics. Jeff Barry and Don Kirshner, two of the producers credited with the success of The Monkees, signed on to produce recordings to be "performed" by the Archies for the show. Aside from being featured in "song of the week" sequences on the TV show itself, there were also five Archies LPs released between 1968 and 1971, and several singles, including four Top 40 hits. The most successful of the Archies' hits was "Sugar, Sugar", a number-one Billboard Hot 100 hit which became the top-selling song of 1969. "Sugar, Sugar" remains the only number-one American pop hit by a fictitious group. The other three Archies hits were "Bang-Shang-A-Lang" (1968), "Jingle Jangle" (1970), and "Who's Your Baby?" (1971); their other singles include "Feelin' So Good" (1969), "Inside Out, Upside Down" (1969), and "Get on the Line" (1970). Many of the Archies' songs, including "Sugar, Sugar", were composed by Jeff Barry and Andy Kim, and several songs were compositions The Monkees had turned down.
Ron Dante provided the male lead vocals for the Archies recordings, with Toni Wine, and later Donna Marie and Merle Miller, providing the female leads. "The Archie Show" remained on the air under various names and in various formats until 1978, although the Archies studio musical group ceased to make new commercial recordings after 1971.
A complete reissue of the Archies albums was released in 2016, containing 60 tracks. However, the only hit by them, "Sugar, Sugar," gets a significant number of listeners.
Who's Your Baby
The Archies Lyrics

Fantastic! Now you tell me how much do you love me?
Oh about this much, mmm, heavy
Who's your baby
Who's the one you love
You're the only one for me
Who's your baby
You're the only one my eyes can see
An' let me say in ev'ry way you're dynamite
do you know how good you really are
Please don't let her stray away
I pray each night
Can't stop now, it's been so good so far
Upon opening your eyes when mornin' comes
What's the first thing on your mind
If you had enough
Hey would you give me some
And would a thank you to you do you
Who's your baby in the morning
Who's your baby at night
Who do you want when you want
Somebody to come and hold you
The lyrics to The Archies' song "Who's Your Baby?" are a playful and flirtatious conversation between two people who are clearly smitten with each other. The song starts with one person asking the other what their favorite thing in the world is, and then follows with a declaration of love. The back and forth continues, with the singer asking "who's your baby?" and affirming that their love interest is the only one they want. The chorus repeats this sentiment, with the singer asking who their love interest is dreaming of and stating that they're the only one they can see.
Throughout the song, the singer describes their love interest as "dynamite" and expresses concern that they might stray. They also ask about their love interest's thoughts and feelings throughout the day and make it clear that they want to be the one to hold and comfort them. The song is upbeat and catchy, with a classic pop sound that is quintessentially 60s.
Overall, "Who's Your Baby?" is a fun and playful love song that captures the excitement and infatuation of a new romance. It's all about being the one for someone and knowing that they feel the same way.

Ron Dante doing most of the voices and Donna Marie doing the sexy female lead. Donna had been only a guest at the recording session and stepped forward when the other girls they hired for the session didn't cut it. Donna just nailed it.
