Their music is a combination of 60s psychedelic rock, and 70s riff rock filtered though the progressive rock influences of today. Since their first release in 1999 'The Atomic Bitchwax' on Tee Pee Rec., they have toured every year in North America and Europe covering over 15 countries and continue to expand. In that time the band has released five more records including three full lengths. 'TAB-2, 3 and 4', two EPs 'Spit Blood', and 'Boxriff', which included a DVD live show filmed in Seattle's Sunset Tavern. Their music has also appeared in popular TV shows including 'Jackass', 'Home-wrecker' and 'Fox sports'. Future plans include the 2011 release of 'The Local Fuzz', boasting one 40 min. track of over 50 riffs back to back. This was followed by a live tour in April that year.

Play the Game
The Atomic Bitchwax Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
The tides have spread away well I got the law
You got this all you want aw you bitch
Coming to you now baby, you won't loose
Well have you learned I know thatyou got that
Aw play the game the sea is hot as hell
Oh in my eye I can't see it's for you and that's for me
The Atomic Bitchwax's song Play the Game is a psychedelic rock track that is rich in metaphors and symbolism. The opening lines of the song, "Oh step this way and I'll show you how well yesterday/The tides have spread away well I got the law," suggest a journey into the past where the singer has gained wisdom and experience. It seems that the singer is eager to share their knowledge with someone who is lost or seeking guidance. The line "Well I got the law" could be interpreted as the singer having the answers or knowing the rules of the game.
The next set of lyrics, "You got this all you want aw you bitch/Coming to you now baby, you won't lose," could be interpreted as a challenge or a warning to someone who is overconfident or selfish. The word "bitch" could be used as a gender-neutral insult. The singer seems to be telling this person that they may have everything they desire but they will still face consequences. The line "Coming to you now baby, you won't lose" could be interpreted as the singer offering help or support, despite the recipient's negative attitude.
In the final lines of the song, "Well have you learned I know that you got that/Aw play the game the sea is hot as hell/Oh in my eye I can't see it's for you and that's for me/Coming to you now, baby," the singer seems to be questioning if the recipient has learned anything from their previous mistakes or experiences. The line "the sea is hot as hell" could be interpreted as a warning of danger or potential consequences. The last line "Coming to you now, baby" suggests that the singer is still willing to offer help or guidance, despite any previous mistakes or differences.
