Fatboy Slim) and his long-time engineer Simon Thornton in 2007. Collaborators have included David Byrne (of Talking Heads), Dizzee Rascal, Jamie T, Martha Wainwright and Iggy Pop. Brighton Port Authority has already had a quiet release. 'He's Frank,' featuring Iggy Pop, appeared on the soundtrack to 'Heroes'.

Overall Meaning

The BPA's song Superman is a heartfelt ballad that talks about the limitations of what the singer can do for his beloved. The lyrics convey a deep sense of yearning and a desire to be able to do everything possible to make his love happy. In the first verse, he expresses his desire to take his love to the moon and Mars and build the house of her dreams. However, he realizes that he is not good enough to do all of that, and it is equally hard for him. In the second verse, he speaks about being brilliant, knowing everything about his love, and never going too far. Nevertheless, he also finds that he cannot be that perfect and makes the same mistakes as others.

The chorus of the song is the most striking part. The singer talks about how everything would be different if he were Superman. Being a superhero would mean that he could give his love everything she needs, and no one would ever do her wrong. The repetition of the line "if I was your Superman" amplifies his deep desire to be the perfect partner for his love.
