@@markwoods1530 Lennon grew up in probably the toughest environment of all 4 of them. Don't forget, the were parts of Liverpool destroyed by the Germans in WWII. John was hanging out with rough crowds in the rubble of the war. Paul, George, and Richie were sort of in the "upper class" of Liverpool and had more stable households and families who looked after them more closely as children.

Paul talked about the day Paul and John met, Paul was a little intimidated because John "smelled of beer" lol.

They started to fall about (talent wise) in 1968 (their voices started to decline-got worse) . Then a angel came (Yoko Ono) she started to work with them on their voices. And of course she was able to get their voices on track again. She refused to work with Ringo-on his voice. She said his voice was a hopeless case. She adviced him to work on his drumming, because she said he didn't know the first thing about drumming.
