1. A American Hip Hop group.
2. A Japanese instrumental latin jazz-fusion group.
1. The Beatnuts are a hip hop group and production duo from Queens, New York City. Its current members are JuJu and Psycho Les. JuJu (born Jerry Tineo on December 4, 1968) is Dominican American from Corona and Psycho Les (born Lester Fernandez on April 10, 1972) is a Colombian American from Jackson Heights. The Beatnuts were originally a trio before Kool Fashion, now known as Al' Tariq, left the group to start a solo career. The Mighty V.I.C. (Groove Merchantz, Ghetto Pros) was also a member of The Beatnuts' production team for a while.
Early on in their career they produced whole albums for Posse members Common Sense and Chi-Ali. Their production is noted as some of the finest and most accomplished, if unheralded, in all of hip-hop, often intricately detailed (as in their finely honed work for Mos Def on two tracks from Black on Both Sides) but more regularly barnstorming, club-friendly, flourish-laden party music. Jennifer Lopez used their track "Watch Out Now" as the instrumental for her song "Jenny from the Block". The Beatnuts produced more songs for the artists they had previously collaborated with as well as Fat Joe, Suprรชme NTM and Da Youngsta's. At the same time, The Beatnuts made their name as remix specialists by remixing songs for MC Lyte, Da Lench Mob, Naughty by Nature, Jomanda and others.
The Beatnuts are noted for being unabashedly, bullishly ribald and in-your-face performers. Recent Beatnuts albums are characterised by more Latin influences.
Less known is they are considered part of the Native Tongues collective. The Beatnuts are the only Latino members of the Native Tongues collective. Although only peripheral members, they are routinely acknowledged by Q-Tip.

Oh, oh, oh! 2 G's mother, uh!
The Beatnuts y'all, uh!
Uh, oh! Juju, Psycho Les, uh, oh!
Turn it out oh, oh my god oh!
Oh, oh, it's the hardcore b-boy shit!
Hard to the core motherfucker, no keyboard shit!
Ayo the Nuts landed, so pack it up
Pass the mic to big Psych, the manufacturer
The architect, bringing you the art of wreck
You used to hate my click, now you want a part of it
We coming with more hits that funk like Parliament
Comparing me to another's going to lead to an argument
The heat we fry you with, straight from the armory
Guerilla army, we kill tracks in harmony
My Nut orchestra blowing fuses
Your amp can't hold this music, it's booming
I'm in my truck cruising, 97 tuned in
The latest news is the Nuts new album is ruling
Y'all vs. the Nuts, you have a big chance of losing
(There's no escaping this) Or confronting the union
So stop fooling yourself, and feel these Nuts
'Cause (No one's ready to deal with us) What?
(No escaping this)
(No escaping this)
(No escaping this)
"No one's ready to deal with us"
Don't be humble, it's better to pull
Belive you eligible, get left like a vegetable
Man it's crazy and there's no escape
It's turned into a police state
The average cat don't even know his fate
Walking round like he hurting something
And there's nothing that he got to say that's even worth discussing
Listen to me, it's better to be
Lying dead with honor, soldier, than to never be free
Young niggas out here losing they dads
In the battle of the son of the fags
Every other country burning the flag
Don't let history repeat itself
That's how the devil plan to keep his wealth and feed himself
I'm the New York power hitter
Hit the devil in the fucking shitter
Take his manhood and all his glitter
Got guns ready to bust
"No one's ready to deal with us"
(No escaping this)
(No escaping this)
(No escaping this)
(No escaping this)
(No escaping this)
(No escaping this)
(No escaping this)
"No one's ready to deal with us"
Can't get away, there's no escaping this!
Surrender now, come out with your hands in the air
Oh, no! Turn it out oh!
Oh my God oh! Turn it out oh!
Oh, no! Turn it out oh!
Oh my God oh! Turn it out oh!
Oh, no! Turn it out oh!
Oh my God oh! Turn it out oh!
Oh, no! Turn it out oh!
Oh my God oh! Turn it out oh!
Oh my God
Juju, rockin' on rockin' on, Psycho Les, rockin' on, rockin' on
"Corona in the house" "Throw your hands up!"
The Beatnuts' "No Escapin' This" speaks about the group's dominance in the rap scene, with no one being able to escape or compete with their skills. The lyrics are aggressive and confident, with the group asserting that they are "hard to the core motherf***er, no keyboard sh**." They brag about their hits, and that their new album is ruling. They compare themselves to a "guerilla army" killing tracks in harmony, and their presence in the rap scene is compared to a police state which the average person cannot escape. They advise people to listen to them and not be fooled, for history might repeat itself, thus allowing the devil to feed himself. They stress the importance of freedom, honor, and standing up for oneself. The song ends with a reference to Corona, one of the group's early supporters.
