Great sound, great trio, great tune, best Cavern tribute, ever!

bob dufton

I am one of the 'old ' group guitarist from that period, and still playing !! The Big Three may not have been The Beatles with fab original songs, brilliant 3 part harmonies in the making etc etc etc. BUT they could 'blow' any band off stage on a good night. Just the tightest 3 piece around, clever bass & drums to support Brian Griffiths wih that amazing Hofner Col. and Vox.and those rusty Cathedral ??? strings, with a plain 3rd. The Live E.P is the BEST thing ever from Cavern, fresh today as ever

The Mersey Sound

what group were you with?

James Martin

I enjoyed that. Really good! I think they deserved more success than they achieved.. Still that's the music biz for you...

Great riff and solo, been playing guitar since the 60s but still can't work out the riff

The Soul Immigrants

@llandwrogy I used to go to the clubs in Liverpool and the Wirral at that time (had a boyfriend who drove a group around) and the Big Three were always popular!!
