Dziki Zachód
The Bill Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
Małpy podniecają mnie
Dupy mają gołe, a miny wesołe
Cały dzień bym z nimi bawił się
Ameryka też podnieca mnie
Kupić gun'a i postrzelać chcę
Grać w orkiestrze dętej, zostać prezydentem
Ale po co z Polski ruszać się
Trzeci Świat dokoła mnie
Świry w parlamencie, Ameryka będzie
Wszyscy pieprzą jak po LSD
Wszystko piękne jak w najlepszym śnie
Europa do nas zbliża się
Pyszne hamburgery i górskie rowery
Nawet pracy jakby coraz mniej
The lyrics of The Bill's song Dziki Zachód express the desire to leave Poland and explore other parts of the world. The first two stanzas talk about Africa and America, and how the singer is attracted to the monkeys in Africa and the guns and opportunities in America. Despite this, the singer questions the need to leave Poland, as there are strange politicians and a growing contempt for America. The final stanza talks about how Europe is coming closer to Poland, with delicious hamburgers and mountain bikes.
The lyrics overall convey a sense of dissatisfaction with the current state of affairs in Poland, and a desire for adventure and excitement. The desire to leave and explore other parts of the world is tempered by a sense of skepticism and disillusionment, particularly in regards to American politics and the behavior of politicians in Poland.
