In 1984 four school mates Kefir, Krzysiek, Kuba and Skóra formed their first band. In 1985 named "Afront". In 1986 as first polish christian punk band (yep, it was Afront not Armia) they won 3rd place in christian song festival.
The band ceased performing in 1996, but have never formally disbanded. In summer 2004 they're back.

The Bill's song "Pop-kultura" is a critique of the Polish subcultures in the 90s. The song describes a society divided into different subcultures, with each group having their own preferences and prejudices. Aż dziwne że tylu małolatów tego słucha... Ale dobrze niech słuchają, nie obrażajcie ich za to że się buntują - pamiętajcie że wy też się buntowaliscie - po was też jechano. Niech słuchają, taka muzyka pozwala włączyć myślenie - muzyka z przekazem nawet najgłupszym jest lepsza niż muzyka o trzęsących się pośladkach.

a tam kurwa ludzie co wy pieprzycie, MUZYKA, to jest ważne , the Bill ma świetne kawałki. Mam 30 lat , znam wiele osób , poukładanych, mających dzieci, żony, domy, którzy mają wiecej z PUNKA niż gówniarze z irokezem w glanach, anarchią na plecakach itp itd. Punk to styl zycia, specyficzne podejscie do niego, ale nie zawsze oznacza to p[ierdolenie wszystkiego i wszystkich dookoła.
