TBCB MUSIC released the band's first effort on last october, 2005. The album entitled "The Black Cat Bone", includes 11 original songs plus a country rendition of Preston Foster's "I got my mojo working".
“The Black Cat Bone”, TBCB’s NEW ALBUM-KOMA
TBCB’s return to the Colombian national rock scene began in November 2009 with the recording sessions for their second album with German Villacorta as producer alongside Juan David Bernal. The four musicians of TBCB Mauricio Leguízamo, Juan David Bernal, Luis Fernando Garcia and Andres Garzón began the final phase of a sabbatical year in which the band found its musical essence. These were months of intense creativity, reflection and a rest from the great moment where, between 2005 and 2008, the band was on top of the national rock scene.
This pause, which meant a redirection in the band’s musical concept, found a quick echo in the genius of Germán Villacorta, Peruvian producer and engineer based in Los Angeles, whose credits range from Ozzy Osbourne, Stone Temple Pilots and Rolling Stones among others, in diverse roles as recording and mixing engineer. Villacorta understood the meaning of what TBCB wanted resulting in one of the best records in the history of Colombian rock. In February 2010, the single “Let it die” opened way to KOMA, the band’s second studio album.

Not one more day
Could tell it all from the look on your face
So you let it go, closed your eyes, turned your back
Hid what you felt inside, ran away, turned around, let it die
You said it's over and how you waited
Didn't want to go on, although our love was strong,
Go on and run all you want, all you want.
And you, you take your time,
Remember you were mine
And you know I tried
And so it's over, what we created
Was turned to ashes, we saw how it faded
So you let it go, closed your eyes, turned your back
Hiding what you felt inside
Fade away, let it die, turned around
Trying to find a reason why
You said it's over and how you waited
For me to change all my life, felt frustrated
Didn't want to go on, although our love was strong,
Go on and run all you want, all you want.
And you, you take your time, remember you were mine
And you know I tried
And I'll be standing tall, you know that I won't fall
After so long.
And you... you let it die... you let it die after all this time
And I'll be standing tall, you know that I won't fall
After so long.
The Black Cat Bone's song Let it die is a heart-wrenching tale about a love that has come to an end. The lyrics convey a strong sense of resignation and sadness, as the singer comes to terms with the fact that their relationship is over. The lyrics reveal that the end was not sudden, but a long time coming, evident from "Not one more day. Could tell it all from the look on your face".
The singer mourns the loss of the love, reminiscing about the good times that they shared together. However, they acknowledge that their love has faded away and that it is time to move on. Despite this acceptance, they still feel that pang of sadness when they remember how it all ended. They also acknowledge that their partner had been waiting for them to change, but it never happened, leaving their partner feeling frustrated.
The repetition of "Let it die" in the chorus underscores the finality of the situation. The use of the phrase "standing tall" towards the end of the song suggests that the singer has found the resilience to move on and come out stronger on the other side.
