While this very well may be true, if youre into this stuff, highly recommend you check out "The Primals". They're a band started by FF XIV/XVI Composer Masayoshi Soken and XVI/XVI Localization lead Michael-Christopher Koji Fox. They play music from FF XIV in a similar mode of rock/metal variants and sometikes even do the tracks used in game.
If you like Black Mages, might also be up your alley.

it's like trying to compare heath ledgers joker to caesar romero, there both awesome in their own way, i just lean toward caesar romero more.
