Mr. Welch and I have something in common- a tendency to go "can we EAT it?" after killing stuff. I once made a ranger where scavenging our kills and adopting animals was pretty much all she did aside from fighting. She ended up lugging around the top shell of a giant spiked turtle and bags of dried turtle meat, other meat, bird feathers, skins, etc., plus her bear animal companion and a pair of dire wolf pups she rescued. Another campaign I played a drow rogue who was also the party cook, and sadly the Dwarf ended up developing a pathological problem with mushrooms. I'm sorry, but they ARE a staple of life in the Underdark!

note . Jedi cannot parry a shotgun blast , or a slug thrower shot . it works on blasters because of the energy field around the Saber . slug throwers are a favorite of Bounty hunters for this reason .

Mentioning mdc and glitter boys means these people know about rifts, I wasn't allowed an mdc shank made of power armor, even if i could make it and have it properly enchanted in other campaigns. The Blessed Prison Shank was fun while I was allowed it. Repeatedly shanking power armor users to death may have had a few things to do with it, probably the vampire lord too. Also wasn't allowed to have a psi slinger who had to say "pew pew" to fire. Also almost all of this is possible technically in rifts.
