The Blackout Lyrics

They are, the reason I don't care
Riot! We gotta take what's ours
I'm done, trying to hide these scars
You left me bleeding on my knees and far from home
(Waiting for somebody to save me, waiting for somebody to call)
Get me to the hospital
Get me to the hospital
(Just shut your fucking mouth)
Tired, of all the shit you spout
Die young, to fucking save yourself
I'm done, you know I know what's best
You left me bleeding on my knees and far from home
(Waiting for somebody to save me, waiting for somebody to call)
Bleeding on my knees and far from home
(Waiting for somebody to save me, waiting for somebody to call)
Get me to the hospital
Get me to the hospital
I got the feeling that something's wrong
Sick, I'm Sick, I'm Sick
Sick of all this shit!
I've waited for someone for far too long
Sick, I'm Sick, I'm Sick
Sick of all this shit!
It feels like it's almost over
I'm fading away
Bleeding on my knees and far from home
(Waiting for somebody to save me, waiting for somebody to call)
Bleeding on my knees and far from home
(Waiting for somebody to save me, waiting for somebody to call)
Get me to the hopsital
Get me to the hospital
Get me to the hospital
Get me to the hospital
Sick, We're Sick, We're Sick
Sick of all this shit!
We're Sick, We're Sick
Sick of all this shit!
We're Sick, We're Sick
Sick of all this shit!
We're Sick, We're Sick
Sick of all this shit!
(We're sick, We're sick)
(Sick of all this shit!)
(We're sick, We're sick)
(Sick of all this shit!)
(We're sick, We're sick)
(Sick of all this shit!)
(We're sick, We're sick)
(Sick of all this shit!)
(Bleurgh!)
The Blackout's song "Liars" is an intense and angry song that speaks about the feeling of betrayal and a desire to take action against those who have been dishonest. The lyrics begin with an acknowledgement of the omnipresence of liars. The singer is disillusioned and feels that these people are the reason why they do not care anymore. The following line urges the listener to take action, to riot and take what's theirs. The singer is done with trying to hide the scars from the hurt caused by the liars. They feel like they have been left alone and bleeding, waiting for someone to save them or call for help.
The chorus expresses a sense of urgency and a need to be taken to the hospital. The quiet part of the song conveys the frustration of being tired of hearing the same old lies spewed by the liars. The next verse speaks of the desire for self-preservation and to not die young. The singer is now certain that they know what's best for themself. The chorus is repeated again with the same sense of urgency and desperation for help.
Towards the end, the song takes a more desperate turn with the singer expressing the feeling that something is wrong and that they are sick. They are tired of waiting for somebody to help them and they are overwhelmed by the situation. The chorus repeats with a more intense and frenzied repetition of "We're Sick of all this shit!" until the song ends with a disgruntled "Bleurgh!".
