Good Good Lovin'
The Blossoms Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

When this crazy world
Has got me going
When I'm feeling hung-up
And strung up tight
When I just feel like crying
'Cause nothing's satisfying
I know what I gotta get to set me right
All I need is your good, good lovin' babe
That'll pick me up before I count to ten
Just a little bit of your good, good lovin'
Makes this big bad world look good again

We all have those days
When we're downhearted
And just the job of living
Is hard to do
But when his happens to me
And I get kind of gloomy
I know what is guaranteed to see me through

All I need is your good, good lovin' babe
That'll pick me up before I count to ten
Just a little bit of your good, good lovin'
Makes this big bad world look good again

Good, good lovin'
Good, good lovin'
Makes this big bad world look good again

All I need is your good, good lovin' babe
That'll pick me up before I count to ten

Just a little bit of your good, good lovin'
Makes this big bad world look good again

Miss Darlene is the most under appreciated artist in the world. Hope she's receiving the accolades she deserves while she's still alive!

@wildsmiley

Mark Drutz she absolutely is - a member of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, thousands cheering her blazing talent in concert, stars like Bruce Springsteen and Bette Midler backing her up and singing her praises. Not to mention her Christmas perennial lighting up homes and businesses literally everywhere during the holidays every single year. She deserves all of the success, love and praise in spades. Darlene is a national treasure.

Such a beautiful song I love it ❤️

@gilloera8912

Such a beautiful, haunting record with its resonant overtones! I can't get enough of this jam. I slow danced to this in 1967 with my baby. She's dead now and I'm 74 still listening to this.

Amazing single on Frank Sinatra's label. Has the same tempo as "That's Life"

One of My Moms favorite jams 💜

@gilloera8912

My mom and I used to dance together to this, she was teaching me how to slow dance. This was in 1963. I still have mom and dad ages 93 and 92. God bless them.
