LYRICS

"This Old Town"

This is for the blokes
Driving transit vans
and the people on the dole
Who are drinking cans
They've got no aspirations
Because they're always thinking
'bout their next wage

And he don't know what to do next
we can't saving cakes
for I'm under a sex
now he makes a living selling E's
Cause he never passed his GCSE's

And the skin heads begin to argue
They argue over who drank the last can
They don't understand

What told sick and tired
In this old town
because this old town
keeps dragging,
Dragging me down
its dragging me down

You know I'm so sick and tired
In this old town
because this old town
keeps dragging,
dragging me down
Its dragging me down

You know I'm so sick and tired
In this old town
because this old town
keeps dragging,
dragging me down
you know its dragging me down

And you told
we're to get off in 6 am
start your week all over again
your boss tells to you
with an angry face
and he wants to know why
you turned up late
you say it and I'll drink it
on out were you make
He said just no excuse
to quarter past eight
I'll tell you sunshine
each in every champagne
so you wanting your knows is
I walk out the gate
then you talk your boss
you gonna start to burn
you don't understand
you don't understand

What told sick and tired
In this old town
because this old town
keeps dragging,
dragging me down
its dragging me down

You know I'm so sick and tired
In this old town
because this old town
keeps dragging,
dragging me down
its dragging me down

You know I'm so sick and tired
In this old town
because this old town
keeps dragging,
dragging me down
Its dragging me down
You know its dragging me down

How did these not become huge? There’s about 8/9 songs that are absolutely class around 8/9/10 years ago. Should be remastered and made into a proper album.

Football wise, from Millwall, Pompey, West Ham to stoke they were revered and seen as the next Twang. But slowly went away…

If they can catch the magic of their tunes from 10 years ago, still have a massive chance.

@ryanoverton2323

Bumped into all of them a couple of years ago at a Snuts gig in Stoke and they're all still friends. The lead guitarist/songwriter was training to be a dentist

@paulm8327

Still great 10 years later. Should have been big the Blue Collars.

This is fucking amazing. It's so hard to find good music these days but in this case it's safe to say this is amazing.

@ZakuNuva

I saw a comment about this band on a random General Fiasco Video... I've ran out of new music, so I checked it out. I'm so glad I did.

@reyserpientes

The strokes brought me here. Sounds great. A listener from guadalajara méxico. the world is getting smaller.

@MrBowww1
