Soul Man
The Blues Brothers Lyrics
Comin' to ya on a dusty road
Good lovin' I got a truck load
And when you get it you got something
So don't worry cause I'm coming
I'm a soul man
I'm a soul man
I'm a soul man
I'm a soul man
And I'll make it better each and every day
So honey don't you fret
'Cause you ain't seen nothing yet
I'm a soul man
I'm a soul man
Play it Steve!
I'm a soul man
I'm a soul man
Listen
I was brought up on a side street
I learned how to love before I could eat
I was educated from good stock
When I start lovin' I just can't stop
I'm a soul man
I'm a soul man
I'm a soul man
I'm a soul man
Well grab the rope and I'll pull you in
Give you hope and be your only boyfriend
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
I'm a soul man
I'm a soul man
You're a soul man
I'm a soul man
I'm a soul man
I'm a soul man

The band made its debut as the musical guest on the April 22, 1978, episode of Saturday Night Live.
The band then began to take on a life beyond the confines of the television screen, releasing an album, Briefcase Full of Blues, in 1978, and then having a Hollywood film, The Blues Brothers, created around its characters in 1980.
After the death of Belushi in 1982, the Blues Brothers have continued to perform with a rotation of guest singers and other band members. Aykroyd reunited the original band in 1988 for a world tour and again in 1998 for a sequel to the film, Blues Brothers 2000. Aykroyd and the band, occasionally joined by Belushi's brother Jim, make regular appearances at musical festivals worldwide.

He was channeling the South when so many people played the harmonica...
Somewhere someone with enough money,,,
Should start the harmonica school...
The blue brothers School of harmonica!
Belushi would love it.

I would trade every moment of Jimmy Fallon’s career for one more Belushi skit.

Toss in all other late night hosts except for ol Craig, and I'd be more than happy to say the same, I'd even say toss in their lives as well, and toss in a lot more useless folks into the deal and it would still be worth it, you could've tossed in every democrat in the nation into a volcano and I'd still say it would be a worthy deal to have Dan Aykroyd and John Belushi perform their songs once more.
