The Bones are a band from Karlskrona, Sweden. Since the kick-off back in '96, these guys have been on stage several hundred times all over Europe putting on an amazing performance. But the rise to success started in the fall of 1997 when they released "The Horrorway E.P." (own label), which sold out in just a few months. This success drove the guys to put out a second mini-album titled "Six feet down and two fingers up". During the recording-sessions for "Six feet down, two fingers up", the band was contacted by the german label " People like you Records (sublabel to Century Media Records).and in the summer of '99 The Bones signed the contract. The rock'n'roll circus was about to take off! Not content with this they also signed with german booking-agency, MAD. This crazy carousel made way for their first full-length album "Screwed, blued and tattooed" which, in turn, resulted in the band touring all over Europe gaining new fans wherever they went. The Bones was rattling the cage, making some noise
In the spring of 2002 The Bones released their second album "Bigger than Jesus", again the guys recorded at the PAMA-studio backed-up by "People like you". Great reviews were echoing from all over Europe but the album also attracted some great feedback from the U.S. Touring has continued and the band has headlined several festivals and toured arenas together with Die Toten Hosen. Live The Bones have also supported bands like D.A.D, U.S. Bombs for a whole european tour, shared stages with Motörhead, Roger Miret & The Disasters, 999, Angelic Upstarts, Cockney Rejects and so on... As you can see this is band a that play to live and live to play - down to the bone!
The Bones are also a Las Vegas-Based Rock & Roll band comprised of Patrick Vitagliano (formerly of Nuclear Theory/Assault) on Guitar and Lead Vocals, Sean Koos (formerly of Joan Jett & The Blackhearts) on Bass, and Jeff Duncan (From Armored Saint and formerly of Odin) on guitar. https://theboneslv.com/

The Bones Lyrics

you´ve got to take a shot and live like me
Cause this is my lifestyle, through my night times
If you wanna have this beer with me,
you´ve got to take this pill and
share with me
Cause this is my life style
You could be my sunshine
I´ll have my TV on the wall, and no one on the phone
Doors shut and my self on the throne
Hey baby do you dare to chance,
I´m so god damm sorry I won´t have that dance
To your lifestyle, that ain´t my lifestyle
If you really, really, really wanna dance with me,
you´ve got to take this line and snort with me
Yeah it´s my lifeline, my lovely sunshine
Chorus
I´ve got reminders on the floor, IRS on the phone
Doors shut and my self on the floor
The lyrics of The Bones's song Home Sweet Hell tell a story of a person who is living their life in a certain lifestyle, with their own set of rules, habits, and addictions. The person is inviting someone else to be with them, but the invitation comes with a warning that the lifestyle is not for the faint-hearted. In the first verse, the lyrics suggest that to be with this person, you must be willing to match their energy and live like they do. This is reinforced in the second half of the verse when the person asks the other to share a drink and a pill, indicating that this is a common occurrence.
The chorus paints a picture of how this person lives their life. They have their TV on the wall but no one on the phone. They prefer to be alone, and anyone who wants to dance with them must take a line and snort it with them. The third verse suggests that this person has some problems, with "reminders on the floor" and "IRS on the phone." However, they use these problems as an excuse to continue their habits, shutting themselves on the floor.
Overall, the lyrics of Home Sweet Hell tell a story of a person who is living their life in their own way, with their habits, addictions, and vices. They are trying to invite someone into their life, but only if the other person is willing to match their level of energy and live life with the same intensity. The lyrics portray a sense of recklessness and a disregard for consequences, suggesting that the person is living life on the edge.
