Inside My Heart
The Box Lyrics

I could've felt inside my heart
Such a fire, such a drive
Such confidence inside my heart
I used to wonder every day
Will ever someone reach inside my heart
Oh
Everything I feel, all the little things inside
All of the passions, all of the dreams
Inside of my heart
All I feel
Is a storm of emotions I just can't control
All out of love, deep down inside my heart
(Inside my heart)
Inside of my heart
All I feel
Is a hurricane of love like I've never had before
All of the passions, all of the dreams
All out of love, inside of my heart
Oh
Feels like a thousand little flames are burning
(Inside my heart)
Throwing all the light, all the light I needed
(Inside my heart)
You bring out the best of what has been long hiding
(Inside my heart)
Oh
And make me want to shed into the light
Everything I feel, all the little things inside
All of the passions, all of the dreams
Inside of my heart
All I feel
Is a storm of emotions I just can't control
All out of love, deep down inside my heart(Inside my heart)
Inside of my heart
All I feel
Is a hurricane of love like I've never had before
All of the passions, all of the dreams
All out of love
Inside of my heart
All I feel
Is a storm of emotions I just can't control
All out of love, deep down inside my heart
(Inside my heart)
Inside of my heart
All I feel
Is a hurricane of love like I've never had before
All of the passions, all of the dreams
All out of love
Inside of my heart
Oh
The Box's song "Inside My Heart" is a passionate declaration of a deep emotional connection. The opening lines express disbelief at the intensity of feeling within the singer's heart, which is described as a "fire," a "drive," and a "confidence." It is said that this feeling was once elusive and unattainable but has now been reached. The chorus goes on to describe the storm of emotions that the singer is experiencing, with a nod to the overwhelming power of love. The verses reflect on the singer's past and the hope that someone would one day be able to reach inside their heart and bring everything to light, including their passions and dreams.
The song is a powerful exploration of the depths of human emotion and the transformative power of love. The use of metaphors gives the song a poetic quality that adds to its emotional impact. The repeated use of "inside my heart" emphasizes the intensity and depth of feeling being described, while the storm and hurricane imagery conveys the overwhelming power of these emotions. Overall, the song is an affirmation of the beauty and importance of emotional connection, especially with regard to romantic love.
