Been long since you've been on the back of my mind
___ beauty of my wanderin' eye
Sweet like the honey from the clover pie
Queen Magnolia where's your king?
You need one or a worker well it ain't no thing
So Magnolia, Magnolia
Where did you run?
to the land of the rising sun
Ain't no flies in my kitchen
Ain't no bones about my wishin'
And I ain't no keeper or no keeper's son
I will be your one and only keeper 'till your keeper come
When you buzz buzz
Just like a little bitty honey bee
'Round my window
When you buzz buzz
Just like a little bitty honey bee
'Round my door
Hey now say can I clean up baby one more time
Got another little ditty before we gettin' ready to unwind
Goes a little something like yourself
Pretty in the front but a little bit of funk on the back shelf
Magnolia
Magnolia
What do I do?
When the honey runs dry
And I just can't find another half as sweet as you
Oh I don't know what I'm gonna do
Cuz I'd be a fool for taste
Baby let's not keep on wastin time
Cuz there ain't no flies in my kitchen
Ain't no bones about my wishin'
Baby and i ain't no keeper or no keeper's son
I'll be your keeper till your keeper comes

The song "Honey Bee" by The Bridge is a love song about a man who's infatuated with a woman called Magnolia. The song has a positive upbeat tone as the singer describes Magnolia as sweet like the honey from a clover pie. The singer asks Magnolia to stay around him as it has been long since she was on the back of his mind. Magnolia is described as the beauty of his wandering eye. The singer wonders where Magnolia ran to but realizes she is from the land of the rising sun, and queen Magnolia needs a king or worker and it ain't no thing. He offers to be her one and only keeper until her keeper comes.
The chorus of the song talks about how Magnolia buzzes around his window and door just like a little bitty honey bee, emphasizing Magnolia's charm and sweetness. The song also talks about the possibility of running out of honey and not finding another half as sweet as Magnolia, but the singer doesn't want to waste any more time and suggests they not keep on wasting time before he reiterates how he will be Magnolia's keeper until her keeper comes.
Overall, the song exudes a positive tone, talking about love, sweetness, and keeper as the singer enjoys Magnolia's sweet company like that of a honeybee.

I just heard this band on Pandora for the first time in 2023, years after they disbanded. This groove will never die.

Come back to this often. This song is an absolute banger of a groove. It's insane. Every single member is just completely on fire, instruments playing them. Every section is flawless. It's fucking art. Mike's drumming is fucking insanity. 1:59 breakdown is dirft af. Dude is a Swiss watch. No matter how many times I listen, it blows me out of my chair. Cris rhythm on the main riff is ridiculous.
GOD what a fucking assembly of musicians. God damn.
