The Bucketheads project became legendary with the immensely popular house anthem The Bomb (These Sounds Fall Into My Mind). The impact that this song had on any dancefloor was amazing, and still is.
The Bomb is a house track made with samples from Chicago's 'Streetplayer'. Although the cover of 'The Bomb' has (These Sounds Fall Into My Mind) written on it, this is in fact a mondegreen - the original song contains the lyrics "Street sounds swirling through my mind...".

The lyrics are actually: "Street sounds swirling through my mind". The original song is from the band called Chicago and it's called "Street player" from 1979

Still vibing to this in 2024. 1995 stands out as the pinnacle year for music, in my opinion. The era spanning from 1992 to 1997 delivered an abundance of musical gold, with DJs showcasing real talent. It's a shame for those who didn't experience it firsthand because it was truly a glorious time.

And they did all this on hardware samplers and drum machines not like today where you can do everything with just a few clicks of the mouse on a lap top,,,,it was more difficult/more like 🎨 art.
