The canonical difference in the Clone armor has to due with functionality and fit. Phase 1 was more restrictive but provided greater protection, while phase 2 was more agile but could take less damage. Captain Rex was a fan of both, so he combined the best parts to both armors, which is why he has weld marks on it. (There may be more differences, but thats what I'm aware of)

I’d personally love a wave of battle on geonosis stuff, spider and hail fire droid battle pack similar to 501st one would be great!!! Need more droids to balance the clone stuff. Master builder geonosis arena for $500, UCS ATTE for $400, bounty hunter chase for $50, Jango Fett slave 1 for $120, count dooku vs yoda for $20, Kaminoan visit with 2 kaminoans, Obi wan and a clone trooper $30, droid factory assault for $80 with Obi wan anakin padme jango a battle droid super bd and droideka. Some type of clone battle pack with maybe even legos first Clone Commando. They could do one of those lasers that shoots down the command post too!

I guess I never realized it was going to be the twentieth anniversary next year. I think they should. They did a big thing in 2017 for A New Hope. I think they should because that's what we want, I don't speak for everybody, but we want more things like Clone Wars, we don't want Rey and another Skywalker. We want battles, Clankers, and sets that are amazing.

Not a question; the "Cad Bane's speeder" in that poster is very likely not his. That design is re-used throughout the Clone Wars with no ties to Cad Bane. (He also only is seen with it in the Hostage Crisis episode of Clone Wars).

The actual reason they changed from phase 1 to phase 2 is that phase 1 had very strong armour and allowed for temporary survival in space but was very uncomfortable wich prohibited ability in combat and then they switched to phase 2 to fix the comfort issue but it lost the strength and temporary survival in space wich is why rex modified his armour to have the chest plate from the phase 1 armour for extra strength and part of the helmet from the phase one armour for temporary space survival

To add onto the answer for the question about the Phase 1 and 2 armour, the in universe explanation is The Phase 2 armour offered better protection than Phase 1 and it offered more comfort particularly for the helmet, with some of the battles during clone wars lasting for months in some cases, having armour that you wear everyday that is uncomfortable and irritating isn’t the best for efficiency or morale of your troopers

In the bad batch on the shuttle, you can see blue peaking through the grayish black paint. This makes me think that the ship was originally blue but painted over. How come some sets cost more and less in other countries? I personally live in Sweden where lego for some reason cost a lot more then in other countries as, an example the medieval blacksmith cost around $233 in Sweden, while in other countries it can cost as low as $150.

I realized that we don't get many entire waves based on individual movies anymore. For example the 2014 Phantom Menace sets (Sith Infiltrator, MTT, Droid Carrier, Flash Speeder, etc) or 2013 ROTJ wave. Why do you think Lego has diversified each wave. What are the pros and cons? It's funny that you mentioned model trains. A few years ago, I made the mistake of showing my dad the Saturn V and Lander sets I had just put together and my dad had this "I can't believe you're in your late 30s and playing with toys" attitude. I'm thinking well that's definitely the last time I ever mention this stuff to him again. But then I remembered, oh wait, when I was kid and into my teens, my dad spent years putting together a ton of model trains. He also had two RC boats, a truck, and a helicopter. WTF? How is that any different? At least I finish the sets. He spent all that time building those trains and never actually set them up. They've been in boxes in the attic for 20+ years. He never learned to fly the helicopter and he never even finished a $300 RC gas powered boat. Guess he forgot about all that. So if you want some trains already built....I know a guy lol
