The Corrs have released seven studio albums and numerous singles that have achieved Platinum status in several countries. They have sold an estimated 40 million albums worldwide. Their most successful album, "Talk on Corners," reached multi-Platinum certification in Australia and became the highest-selling album of the year in the United Kingdom. The band is among a small number of artists who have held the top two positions simultaneously in the UK album charts, with "Talk on Corners" at number one and "Forgiven, Not Forgotten" at number two. In Australia, "Talk on Corners" was the third highest-selling album of the year. Their third studio album, "In Blue," reached number one in seventeen countries.
The Corrs have received two Grammy Award nominations and one BRIT Award, and were honored with MBEs in 2005 in recognition of their contributions to music and charitable work. They have participated in various philanthropic initiatives, including performances at The Prince's Trust event in 2004 and Live 8 in 2005.
The band was on hiatus for nearly a decade while Jim and Caroline focused on raising families and Andrea and Sharon pursued solo careers alongside family life. According to Sharon, it was uncertain whether the group would reunite. In early 2015, speculation about a reunion emerged, and in a June 2015 radio interview with Chris Evans, Andrea confirmed that the Corrs were working on a new album and would perform at that year's BBC Radio 2 Live in Hyde Park festival. Their sixth studio album, "White Light," was released on 27 November 2015 and was followed by a European tour. Their seventh studio album, "Jupiter Calling," was released on 10 November 2017.

And you need a friend just to be around
I will comfort you, I will take your hand
And I'll pull you through, I will understand
And you know that
I'll be at your side, there's no need to worry Together we'll survive through the haste and hurry
I'll be at your side
If you feel like you're alone, and you've nowhere to turn
I'll be at your side
If life's standing still and your soul's confused
And you cannot find what road to choose
If you make mistakes (make mistakes)
You can't let me down (let me down)
I will still believe (still believe)
I will turn around
And you know that
I'll be at your side, there's no need to worry
Together we'll survive through the haste and hurry
I'll be at your side
If you feel like you're alone, and you've nowhere to turn
I'll be at your side
I'll be at your side
I'll be at your side
You know that
I'll be at your side, there's no need to worry
Together we'll survive through the haste and hurry I'll be at your side
If you feel like you're alone, you've got somewhere to go,
'Cause I'm right there
I'll be at your side, I'll be right there for you
(Together we'll survive) through the haste and hurry
I'll be at your side
If you feel like you're alone, you've got somewhere to go,
'Cause I'm at your side
I'll be right there for you
I'll be right there for you, yeah
I'm right at your side
"At Your Side" is a song by Irish band The Corrs and it's a song about friendship and support during difficult times. It tells a story of being there for someone who needs a friend through the ups and downs of life. The lyrics begin by describing a situation of feeling alone and needing someone to be around, and then the singer reassures the person that he/she will be there to comfort and support them. They will take their hand and pull them through whatever is troubling them, and will understand them. The chorus repeats the phrase "I'll be at your side" and emphasizes the power of the support and the unity they can achieve together. The lyrics then address the possibility of making mistakes and getting lost in life, but the singer assures that he/she will still believe in the person and turn around to support them. The song emphasizes the importance of standing by each other in difficult times and how friendship and support can get us through anything.
