Time Is Ticking Out
The Cranberries Lyrics

We'd better think about the games we play
The world went 'round, yeah around and 'round
We'd better think about the consequences
We'd better think about the global senses
The time went out yeah eh, the time went out
What about radiation?
We don't know, we don't know
What about deprivation?
Gluttony, the human nation?
We don't know, we don't know
For me love is all, for me love is all
For me love is all, for me love is all
Time is ticking out
Looks like we screwed up the ozone layer
I wonder if the politicians care
The time went out yeah eh, the time went out
What about our children then?
Is there nothing left for them?
We don't know, we don't know
For me love is all, for me love is all
For me love is all, for me love is all
Ahh they need oxygen, ah la la la they need oxygen
For me love is all, for me love is all
Time is ticking out yeah
The time is ticking out
The Cranberries' song "Time Is Ticking Out" highlights the need for people to contemplate about their actions as they can have lasting and severe impacts on the world. The lyrics urge the listeners to think about the consequences of their choices, especially in the context of global issues such as pollution, nuclear disasters, and climate change. The lyrics refer to the Chernobyl disaster and radiation, reminding the listeners about the catastrophic effects of such events. The song questions whether the human race is taking preventive measures to ensure that such incidents do not repeat, or whether we are continuing to destroy the planet selfishly.
The lyrics also make a reference to the depletion of the ozone layer due to human actions, and how politicians might not be taking this issue seriously. The song talks about the impact of humanity's actions on future generations and stresses the need for people to act responsibly today. The chorus "For me love is all" emphasizes the urgency of the situation and the need for people to prioritize love and compassion to make the world a better place.
Overall, "Time Is Ticking Out" is a powerful reminder of the fragile state of our planet and the urgent need for all humanity to join hands in protecting it before it is too late. The song urges individuals, governments, and organizations to work together to reduce pollution, reverse climate change, and protect the environment for current and future generations.

All we can do is thank her.
Great Thinkers always believed that the Humans Race are, by
nature, ridiculously evil…
“…men are not gentle creatures, who want to be loved, who at
the most can defend themselves if they are attacked; they are, on the contrary,
creatures among whose instinctual endowments is to be reckoned a powerful share
of aggressiveness.”-Civilizations and its Discontents, Sigmund Freud-
The life of man (the Human race) in his natural state is
“solitary, poor, nasty, brutish, and short; essentially, all men (the Human
Race ) are all equally capable of killing; and when two people want the same
thing the inevitable outcome is war”. - Thomas Hobbes-
Like great musicians - like great mathematicians, great scientists,
philosophers, engineers, sociologists… for many of us, we can name many great
thinkers we admire. But it’s not their creativity that fades, but it’s their stamina.
Great thinkers in their specialties knows that it is a brutalizing endurance
sport.
It takes lots of hard work and sacrifices to be professors
of their trade. We take them for granted. They gave their all. They took upon
the burden of billions of responsibly to be in front of the stage to say and
what has to be done in the brutal environment they (and we have to put up with)
- guts and courage and stamina.
Dolores O' Riordan died from exhaustion from the ruthless and
demandingly fussy environment that we, the Human Race, imposed on her. Like
great thinkers, she understand that.
God understood she, like many such as her, are exhausted.
She wants to go home. God gave her the wings and she earned it. She is home,
God’s Home. She, like many greats she followed and those following her, have no
motivation to come back to us. They did what the Good Lord needed them to do.
. And do the best we can and rise above against our worst
Human Nature and earn our wings too so we can meet in that conference room of
heaven and talk to Delores and others about how we overcome it all to earn a place in God’s Choir.
