1) A band hailing from Turku, Finland, composed of Teemu Brunila (vocals/guitars), Samuli Haataja (bass/vocals) and Erkki Kaila (drums).
At the end of the last century The Crash got their first album out: "Comfort Deluxe". The most well known was probably "Sugared" with a stylish music video that actually won some awards in Finland (Gayest Video in Finland Award by Vinoraati). The band toured internationally as well, and word spread around. In 2002 the second album "Wildlife" came out, "Lauren caught my eye" could be heard all over Europe. Their third album "Melodrama" with very strong 1980's influence was once again a success, not to mention the music videos they shoot (for example for the hit single "Still Alive").
In September 2006 the band released their fourth album "Pony Ride".
In March 2009 the band informed that they're quitting.
2) Oi! band from England, active in the early 80's. they released a split LP with Crux in 1982, their side of which was publisahed on Captain Oi!'s 1995 compilator "Oi! The Rarities"

The Crash's song "Prophecy" presents a powerful message concerning the nature of humanity's greatest desires and fears. What I got from this was all the soldiers that fought and lost their lives in wars for people after them and us could have freedom and rights, they fought against the enemy ,and people now just giving away their freedom to the enemy so they could go to their little jobs and shops etc , these leaders today disregarded even the veterans still alive today, it’s like they spit all over them, we don’t just give up our freedom, we Trust in Jesus work on the cross, I personally and many Christians wouldn’t treat the work of the cross in that way, something tragic is coming to those that don’t know this, hopefully many will realise and come to the finished work of the cross

The crash, McTavish hit the wall, and the car spun and the engine was ripped off. But McTavish was still in the car. Right after that, another car came along and smashed into his car. That's what took McTavish's life. This tells me to watch out for a one-two punch that's coming. Don't get blindsided when it happens.
