Love Lies Bleeding
The Cross Lyrics
(Love)
(Love)
(Love)
(Love) a-come on
(Love) a-come on
(Love) a-come on
(Love) a-come on
A-come on
Hey (a-come on)
The little temptress was so divine
A symphony of cheap perfume and pretty stale red wine
She can wait upon my table anytime
She was poetry in motion
Stiletto heels and nylons she moved up to the table
I could see she had for me a burger with my fries on
Love lies bleeding, yeah, listen to this
Love lies bleeding
Well we were parked outside a city bank
We found it all real funny
The car was running on full tanks
We stole all the money
She was a wicked wily waitress and she should be doing time
She was an ordinary waitress now she owns her own gold mine
How about that
Love lies bleeding, now listen to this
Love lies bleeding
She was a rebel without a cause
She was a girl who needed applause
Love in the future, love in the past
Hey, love in the future (love lies bleeding) love in the past
Love lies bleeding in our path
Love lies bleeding, can you believe that it gets worse
Love lies bleeding
She had a loud theatrical whisper
I had a one way ticket to Palookaville
She had an equally dangerous sister
I was out of my league, they were in for the kill
She was a wicked wily waitress
And I gave her all my trust
She took the loot, gave me the boot
Now she's rich and I'm flat bust
Yeah, love lies bleeding
That was the limit (love lies bleeding) because
She was a rebel without a cause (love, love)
She was a girl who needed applause (love, love)
Love in the future, love in the past (bleeding) hey
Love in the future, love in the past
Love lies bleeding in our path (love, love)
Love lies bleeding
Love lies bleeding
I want you to burn
Burn
Burn
I dreamed this world was quite alright (love lies bleeding)
And everyone meant well (love lies bleeding)
When I awoke to my surprise (love lies bleeding)
I found myself in hell (love lies bleeding)
Love lies bleeding
Love lies bleeding
Love lies bleeding
Love lies bleeding
Love lies bleeding
Love lies bleeding
Love lies bleeding
Love lies bleeding
Love lies bleeding

The four other members were Spike Edney (who went on to form 'Spike's All Stars' - the SAS Band), Clayton Moss, Peter Noone, and Joshua J. McCrae.
The first album, 'Shove it' (1988), was more-or-less a solo album for Taylor - he wrote all the songs and played most of the instruments. The band were formed initially for the tour which followed the release of this album.
However, the newly formed band were allowed a much greater input into the other two recordings, 1990's 'Mad, Bad and Dangerous to Know' and 'Blue Rock' (1991). Unfortunately the release of 'Blue Rock' was overshadowed by the death of Freddie Mercury in November 1991 and, following a few weeks of poor sales, the album was pulled from record stores. It was only ever released in Germany. Due to this limited release, 'Blue Rock' is now highly collectable, with copies regularly selling for over £50 on eBay. Of the three albums, 'Blue Rock' is the most Queen-like.

Fuck Right Off. Ya Know Who Did The Guitars On This Track?
Brian May. He Did Bohemian Rhapsody's Guitar Solo And Wrote Brighton Rock Which Is One Of The Best Solos Of All Time.
Roger Taylor Did Drums In Queen. Wrote Drowse, Radio Ga Ga And Shove It
Freddie Mercury Sang A Solid 80% Of The Songs In Queen And Wrote Bohemian Fucking Rhapsody.
He Died Of AIDS.
And Then There's John Deacon. He's Irrelevant Except For Writing Another One Bites The Dust.
Fuck You
You're A Dick. Go To Hell. Gud Bie.
Ps. This Is My Favourite Cross Song.
