The strength of their debut single Keep Hope Alive - now one of the most-remixed dance tracks - saw them signed to Outpost Recordings. Their debut album Vegas was released in 1997 and achieved significant mainstream success with its blend of electronic, rock and hip-hop influences. A re-working of Trip Like I Do featuring rock band Filter appeared on the soundtrack to the movie Spawn and achieved significant radio airplay.
Their second album, Tweekend, was released in 2001, and featured guest appearances from guitarist Tom Morello (Rage Against the Machine, Audioslave) and singer Scott Weiland (Stone Temple Pilots, Velvet Revolver). This was followed in 2002 by a mix CD entitled Community Service. Their third studio album, Legion of Boom, followed in 2004, and Community Service II was released in 2005.
The Crystal Method also wrote the score and produced the soundtrack for the film London (2006). And work has begun on a second movie score, After is its current title.
They had 4 songs on the FIFA '98: Road To World Cup Video Game: More, Now Is The Time, Keep Hope Alive and Busy Child. In 2002 The Crystal Method's single Name of the Game was the theme song and featured in the credits of the hit video game Splinter Cell. Also, the track Born Too Slow appeared in the demo and full version of the game Need for Speed: Underground. The PSX game Nitrous Oxide (N2O) features the Vegas album in its entirety as the soundtrack.
In 2008 they teamed up with Nike to release a compilation album, Drive, featuring a 45 minute seamless mix of some of their most famous songs and remixes. This set, with its constant BPM, was aimed at long distance runners. Drive also features some new tracks.
The Crystal Method also wrote the theme tune to the Fox tv series Bones staring David Boreanaz and Emily Deschanel and it's become a big dance floor hit in the UK.

Here on last.fm, the artist TCM is an alias for The Crystal Method. However, there are also tracks as TCM which are not by The Crystal Method, but by the project TCM which stands for Thimbles, Cowboy & Mr. Ladies. This was a project that created intro's, outro's and interludes for the Dutch Turn Up The Bass House Party compilation CD series. See discogs
Meth
The Crystal Method Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
look at me, did you see me
ESTAVA PENSANDO EM TI NESS ULTIMA NOCHE
i was thinking of you last night
oh my mother forgive me
HUH HOMBRE ISSO ME ESCITA
oh man this excites me
The Crystal Method's song "Meth" is an electronic instrumental track that is primarily made up of synthesizers and drum machines with a hint of rock elements. However, there are four lines of repeated lyrics in Portuguese that add an interesting layer of intrigue to the song. The first two lines translate to "look at me, did you see me? I was thinking of you last night." These lines could be interpreted as a plea for attention or acknowledgment from someone the singer is interested in, or perhaps even stalking. The third line, "oh my mother forgive me," suggests a feeling of guilt or shame about their thoughts or actions. The fourth line, "oh man this excites me," adds a disturbing element of arousal to the mix, complicating the interpretation even further.
Overall, the lyrics seem to imply a sense of obsession or even danger in the singer's thoughts and actions, which is reflective of the distorted and intense sound of the instrumentation. The song title, "Meth," could be a reference to the powerful and addictive drug methamphetamine, which is known for causing obsessive thoughts and behaviors in users. The repeated phrase "meth" throughout the song also adds to this interpretation.

Was multi-tasking and adding to this every now and then for a while, it ended up getting pretty long... sorry...
TLDR - I feel you, good luck and I hope you eventually get passed it and to a better place in your life.
Post:
At least with opioids you feel better when you get your next fix, to the point it's almost a high itself coming back from withdrawal.(That doesn't mean do those instead, trust me it fucks with your mind/head just as bad and a lot more likely to kill you)
With Ice after a day or two binge you just feel numb and wrung out, coming down is some of the worst depression and manic moods you'll ever feel, and redosing to evade the horrible crash just makes you slightly less numb and stuck awake another 12-24+ hrs while the crash is just building up to be even worse and worse the more you push it off. Eventually Meth doesn't really do anything, make you feel good, or give you energy, but you still take it anyways to be tired and a little depressed instead of being exhausted, miserable, and going crazy with manic thoughts and extreme mood swings.
Once you've been on it a while, when you quit and get past withdrawal it then takes months or even years for that depression, apathy, and random manic feelings to start receding and for you to feel somewhat normal again.
For years after you'll still get "environmental response" highs, things like a TV show, location, or song you loved and always listened to high, will trigger a Pavlovian response in your body. You'll get an endorphin/dopamine rush since your body thinks your about to get high, making you feel an intense craving and need to get high again. (That Pavlov response can also save your life with opioids, IIRC people have OD'd and died because they got high with their usual dose in a different spot than usual, and since their body didn't recognize it and "prep" their normal dose was too much and they OD'd/Died).
Meth tricks you into thinking it makes you feel better, but very quickly it reveals its just the treatment to its own disease, the solution to a problem it's creating. Odds are you'll have felt better when depressed pre-meth, than you do addicted dosing to stave off withdrawal and feel "happy".
At first it'll give a massive dose of euphoria, but when all the dopamine and endorphins are depleted you'll feel even worse. Even worse it makes your body slow down or even stop production of those chemicals so you can't feel them unless your on meth, if you can even feel them at all anymore.
Once again, good luck and hope everything works out for you eventually.
(The rest of this is just random advice and more tangents).
Only things I can say for advice is make sure you have something for the crash so you're less miserable(still be safe, poly-drug use is an expert game played by a lot of rookies. More drugs = more danger and a higher chance of something going wrong), and stay TF away from needles. Shooting up is a whole different beast for any drug and every dose is a gamble if your gonna OD, get blood clots or an air embolism, collapse a vein, get an infection, an infection/abcess leading to an amputation or death, etc. There's also hitting nerves or arteries, which can cause permanent nerve damage or death from an arterial bleed or clot.
If anyone's reading that's desperate for the IV, just boof it instead. Literally just a 1-2% lower BA than IV at 98-99%, but without the high risk of infection, amputation, death, and disease(I understand a lot of people have hangups though and will refuse to do that ROA no matter what). If you need more rush with it, just smoke a good hit right as it's just started kicking in. Regardless, It's better than shooting some mystery powder, with bottled water full of minerals(I.e dirt/rock powder) directly into your bloodstream which your body might not be able to filter out.
Going IV means hard and obvious bruises all over the insides of your arms, constant paranoia about if you screwed up and have an infection or just feel like shit cause you've been high 2-5 days straight, fucked up veins, maybe a little nerve damage from some misses, etc. Stims also constrict your blood vessels (why your arms/hands/feet get freezing cold and an erection is harder to maintain after a while), trying to redose and shoot up with bruised arms, shaking hands, and finding/hitting/staying inside shrunken veins is a MASSIVE pain in the ass and the numerous attempts will tear up your arms and veins even more. And they'll stay that way, years later getting blood drawn the Nurse or Dr will still feel you've got scarred veins.(Only use sterile gear and you should only use a needle once, look up pictures of how blunt and jagged they get after just 3-5 uses. That shit HURTS, damages and scars your veins even more, and if your trying to redose it'll probably take multiple attempts to hit and stay in the constricted vein while you shoot up so it'll already be blunt and jagged after just 1 "use".)
If you smoke, brush your teeth and tongue then gargle some salt water or mouth wash right after. Your mouth and throat will be a lot less fucked up without all the burnt chemicals stuck to them for hours (having a swollen throat and coughing up sticky phlegm with streaks of blood from your tonsils for days isn't fun). Drink water frequently, besides the chemicals from smoking, cotton mouth is what tears up your tongue and ruins your teeth and gums from being dry as fuck all day. Saliva is what protects them from acid and bacteria.
If you snort it all I can say is that "did I just snort crushed glass?" burn sucks. If you just pop it like pills you're lucky I guess cause that's probably the safest ROA with the least health risks.
Final tip, get a box of cheap equate nutritional shakes(Like $20-25 USD for a 24-Pack). When you can't eat for days and feel nauseous from starving, but everything tastes like shit and you're "Not hungry anyways", a strawberry, chocolate, or vanilla shake still tastes good, is easy to chug down, and will at least put something in your stomach. It's also full of vitamins and minerals you need to not feel like shit and remain somewhat healthy, unlike the junk food that's edible on meth but is nothing but fat and or sugar/carbs.
Also Vitamins and minerals are depleted by Meth with many needed to feel happy and regulate your mood, taking vitamin supplements of these will help replace them so you don't feel "as" bad. Vitamins A, B, C, D, Iron, Magnesium, and 5-HTP all help stabilize and improve your mood. And IIRC Magnesium and Potassium help with muscle cramps and jaw clenching/teeth grinding. Just don't over do it, even vitamins and minerals can poison or even kill you if you take too many.
