The Perfect Girl
The Cure feat. Earl Slick Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

You're such a strange girl
I think you come from another world
You're such a strange girl
I really don't understand a word
You're such a strange girl
I'd like to shake you around and around
You're such a strange girl
I'd like
To turn you
All upside down
You're such a
Strange girl
The way you look like you do
You're such a strange girl
I want
To be with you

I think I'm falling
I think I'm falling in

I think I'm falling in love with you
With you

Overall Meaning

I knew earl on the serious moonlight tour. Was hired to accompany him. Lovely guy. Just wanted to talk mainly. I was a beauty and had a psych degree. I knew all about music having shared a house with guys who were music fanatics and weed smokers.
It was great fun
My role was his girlfriend and counsellor to keep him stable on that crazy Bowie tour. I'm 65 and look back with fondness. I hear he's still touring. A really great guitarist and a lovely man
