Reminds me of when Nightwish were at their best (Dark Passion Play).
Our family will never forget that gig May 20th 2008 (the Wife's 39th Birthday) at the Croatian Cultural Centre in Vancouver.
The whole band were AWESOME - but especially YOU Annette. Best vocalist Nightwish ever had.
Very impressed with this song too - will certainly be checking out the album.

Really solid and fun song. Her vocals is what made the Imaginaerum and Dark Passion Play albums. She may not have been what Nightwish was looking for long term but her vocals are really unique and special. She has that unique ability to truly tell a story.

I think she was exactly what they were looking for. When the band was composing "Dark Passion Play" album, they didn't know who would be the singer, so they had free hands and Tuomas said it made him feel liberated. Then they review all these over 2000 girls who wanted the job, and invited the best ones to sing the DPP songs into Finland. And they pick Anette. And DPP became their 2nd best selling album after "Once".

eeh..... Anette is soprano ....like Tarja .. like floor.... soprano is range... Anette has a bright belting soprano voice . Tarja has a dark open throat soprano voice.. and Floor has a mix between the two
