It’s a man made symbol that was created in the last century (early 1900’s) from a jewelry store ad campaign, to get people to buy diamonds and rings for “weddings” and as way to say “I love you” (lazy way, I guess just speaking the words is too hard to do) all so they will profit off of it.

Wedding bands were never worn and the concept was non-existent until AFTER this ad campaigns.

So they don’t mean anything. If you think they do instead of your actual marriage commitment and bond, then that’s an issue! Seriously, it’s an issue. If you can’t trust one another to not wear a ring, then maybe you’re married to the wrong person then.

I don’t wear mine anymore and haven’t for years, if some man hits on me I simply say, no thanks and walk away. If they persist I say get away I’m married and then walk away again. Most at that point stop. Same for my husband who wears his most of the time. He’s lost his band so many times it’s unreal. I told him to stop buying more. We’ve been married for 22 years this November. I have no trust issue whatsoever with him. A ring isn’t what makes me trust him. His actions do. Just saying. And he doesn’t worry about me either, as my actions have never given him a reason to.

Those who freak out about a ring have cracks in their relationship that are deeply rooted in trust issues and they need to work on that for sure.

It is not so much about to stop loving your spouse when you lost something valuable and very sentimental that links to your marriage, as well; but the fact in the video is the husband could have be honest as soon as he realized he lost his ring at the gym. Unconditional love in a marriage is very crucial , obviously; however, loyalty, HONESTY , TRUST , COMMUNICATION, and FAITHFULNESS are also very crucial and important in a marriage, as well. 🙏✌😘😘

There is a lot of things about love marriage or partnership than a ring. My dad and brother were mechanics, a metal ring could be dangerous, so removed them. They made sure to wear them if going out. It never damaged the relationship.

People miss a very valid point the ring is really meant for the woman as a reward for being a wife and a mother. Going back to the days when the man was the sole provider there was no wife buying the husband a ring. Look at the history of all this and youll see it wasnt even an issue.

My husband did the same thing! Before his shower after his workout he place his wedding ring on the bench with his clothes and when he got out the ring wasn't there. He was late getting home as he looked everywhere for it and stopped at the same jewelry store and bought the same ring. It happens!

Well first I would have ruled out him having another wife and children before opening my mouth. Would’ve maybe checked credit cards bank info for any suspicion. It depends if there has been any other suspicious behavior. It’s not that hard to believe he actually lost the ring. Maybe she puts a lot of emotions in the ring. I remember when we had to remove any rings or jewelry on our hands when working on our airplanes when I was in the US Air Force. Some of the wives went ballistic when they found out we had to remove our rings. It was like there was no marriage if the ring was not on their husbands finger.

It was easy for my wife to accept, and I had a forty year career in telecommunications beginning with my six years in the USAF. It was simple choice of having a living husband not wearing a ring at work or a dead husband from snagging his ring on a live electrical circuit. Besides that, it isn't like you can tell your NCOIC or Commander that your wife doesn't want you to take off your ring. As they say, wives are not government issue.

Some men can't wear rings due to the nature of their work. It can get caught on something and become a hazard. Knew a guy that jumped out of the back of a pickup, his ring got caught and degloved his finger. Not always possible to wear rings.

The only reason I know now is because he mentioned to someone else that he had to stop wearing it because it didn't fit any more. I have a feeling I wouldn't have noticed for years. Lol. A ring does not mean a damned thing in the grand scheme of things. Most people who get married don't wear wedding rings anyways after a while. Because they don't feel comfortable to wear sometimes. And that is why some people don't wear wedding rings. I couldn't wear my wedding ring ,I drove a truck my whole life and it was a very physical job ,especially in my early years! My dad did the same work and lost his finger one day at work he was making a delivery and jumped off the side of the truck and had his wedding band on and it got caught on a nail or something while he was trying to grip the side of the truck as he jumped and it got caught while he went down and his finger came right off from the knuckle down and a police officer happened to be close by and picked up his finger and put in a bag of ice and rushed him to the hospital and the surgeon could not save his finger! So he had the rest of it removed being he didn't want half a finger he rather have nothing there! Ever since he told me that story I never wore it again unless it was a weekend and I was going somewhere like a party, etc. Otherwise I never really put it on but never cheated on my wife!! So I think everyone's situation is different and sometimes people do over react!!

Honestly I would not have believed him because who gets so nervous from losing a ring. Everyone loses it sometime. I lost some diamonds out of the set of rings my husband bought me. I did too many things like gardening and carpentry etc. So I just put them up. When I checked to see how much it would cost to replace the diamonds It would cost him more than if he bought me a new set. I didn’t want a new set Today after 56 years Of marriage and no rings on my finger. He passed away. I would rather have him than a stupid ring. Because in the end That’s all that is left to touch ! He didn't tell her because she's an obvious nutjob. Also, lots of people are very superstitious about wedding rings; some women never even take it off for any reason because they think God will swat them or something.

Where does it mention he was already married? If he were already married then no divorce or annulment is necessary… he’s would be charged with polygamy which is illegal in the US. I don’t know where this story originated but there are very few if any first world countries which allow it. Secondly, an annulment if only for unconsummated legal unions.

That's crazy. To file for divorce after 15 years and children because of a ring? What other indications did she have of possible infidelity? The video doesn't mention any. So, there is a strong indication that there wasn't any. That being said, she absolutely overreacted.

My husband lost his ring while working. The original ring didn’t fit well. I didn’t divorce him, we picked out another. If this is the reason why a woman would file for divorce there’s more to the story or she is not confident in her relationship.

Can’t believe I watched the entire thing either. I was expecting an alien hand or something

I believe she was just looking for a reason to divorce. I know someone who lost his wedding ring. Didn't want to hear alot of BS above it so he when got a replacement. She never knew as I know.

I lost my wedding ring cleaning house and my husband got me replacement that Christmas. S*** happens. Like they said she just wanted a reason to get out good luck buddy.

My husband lies about the tiniest things to avoid what he, believes, may cause an argument (90% of the time the issue wouldn't have caused a thing, but when I find out that he lied...then he IS in trouble. Men, its best to just tell the truth!). So, in this scenario I guarantee my husband would buy another ring and lie about it...so, I kind of believe this guy, if he was like mine anyway.

I never wear my rings, and I don’t give a hoot. Neither does my husband. We save them for special occasions. I have a few different ones depending on what I am doing.
If my husband showed up with another ring and that was all the evidence, I’d blow it off. If I was suspicious, maybe request marriage licenses with his name. But if you’re doing that, you’ve got bigger problems than just a new ring.

Once, I opened a tractor transmission and found a wedding band. I returned it to the owner. He finally got divorced and lived happily ever after.

This seems to me the kind of video that causes one to second guess themselves and could cause self doubt in ones self. Why would anyone want this posted? Unless they themselves doubted and second guessed themselves? But why spread such an energetic life suck? I guess I don’t understand the point, one makes a decision maybe based on emotion maybe not, but why cause the same “self doubt” in an audience? why can’t this woman just love herself enough to let herself love regardless of any other’s actions?

I disagree with most here I guess..If he really lost the ring..Why not tell her? As said, It happens. I don't think she was wrong in thinking he was hiding something as we now know he really was. But then the thought would have to cross your mind..If he couldn't tell her that he lost it when he did...Something that would be understandable, what else could he be hiding from her? I don't think I would have gone to the extreme of filing for divorce but this thought would always be in the back of my mind...Also, I'd want to see the receit of where and when he purchased the replacement ring. It's funny though that it took her 4 years to notice it. LOL

I suspect this is one of those posts where the stor was made up out of the whole cloth. A wife would probably be able to find out if her husband is a bigamist or not. She would find out who the other woman was. Hire a detective, or look through his papers. Find out what he was doing when he was not at home. I do not believe this is a true story.
