Saw them perform at the Gold Hill Inn in Colorado, high in the mountains (1970?). They were good friends with Frank and Barbara Finn, the owners. Shortly thereafter we saw them in Boulder at the Lamp Post (long gone) and the famous Tulagi's (also long gone). I was fifteen years old, the Dillards were my first live music, and I love them for it, so many years on. Mitch and Smitty stayed at my parent's house for a spell one Christmas. God bless 'em from another mountain boy. Thanks for posting this A.W. Good memories.

@rafabluegrass A bluegrass band I played in years ago played this song. The banjo player played through a fuzz pedal and amp and the sound was fantastic. Good luck with your cover. Hope to hear it sometime.

@captremo1 Yeah you're right. I met BRL when the Dillards came over to the UK. We were lucky enough to get invited backstage and we jammed for about 20 minutes! One of the best experiences of my life!
