What's Time to a Hog
The Dillards Lyrics

What's time to a hog
What's a Nobel Prize to a toad
Or a fiddle to a frog
What's time to a hog

Now everybody knows that hogs don't hurry
And everybody knows that hogs don't worry
It seems to me
We could figure it out
What's a hoot to an owl
What's Clare Booth Luce to a goose
Or fame to a fowl
What's time to a hog

Now everything depends on how you see it
Be the kind of person you can be
Now it seems to me
That's what it's all for

What's money to a dog
What's dynamite dope to the pope
Or religion to a brown groundhog
What's time to a hog

Everything depends on how you see it
Be the kind of person you can be
Well it seems to me
That's what it's all for

What's a rubber to a duck
What's the old cow think
When you load her on the truck
What's time to a hog

Mitch Jayne was friends with my dad and the told me the story of the cursing at the end of the song. He took his headphones off and on the way to the table, they passed by the live microphone resulting in feedback. Rodney Dillard still had his headphones on and cursed at the pain the loud feedback caused. They thought it was amusing enough to leave on the album.
