The Divorce gained popularity pretty quickly in their native Seattle because of their catchy songs and mainstream vibe. Unfortunately, after nearly seven years of playing together, The Divorce called it quits and played their final shows on June 30th, 2007 at the Crocodile Cafe in Seattle, WA.
Future plans for the members are still not set in stone, but there is an understanding that Shane and Kyle will be starting an electronica-based band, while Jimmy and Garrett will be in a band called Daughters of Revolution. Garrett also plays in several other Seattle bands, such as The Catch, Kay Kay and His Weathered Underground, Ships and Wild Orchid Children.
