Dead Cats Dead Rats
The Doors Lyrics

Dead cats, dead rats
Can't see what they were at, all right
Dead cat in a top hat, wow
Sucking on the young man's blood
Wishing he could come, yeah
Sucking on the soldier's brain
Wishing it would be the same

Dead cat, dead rat
Can't you see what they were at?
Fat cat in a top hat
Thinks he's an aristocrat
Thinks he can kill and slaughter
Thinks he can shoot my daughter

Yeah right! Oh yeah!
Oh right! Yeeah!

Dead cats, dead rats
Think they're an aristocrat
Crap, now that's crap!

Probably the best rock band ever EVER, I can't think of another front man who had such a presence a purity shyness unpredictable and he played every show like it was his last his girlfriend came up to him after a show n said Jim save some energy you got 2 more sets tonight,Jim replied,(You never know when your doing your last performance) Classic Jim Morrison answers.

The Doors came on to the scene in the mid to late 60"s and had an in Rock that's still felt to this day. Morrison was such a powerful and eclectic front man that no other musician can compare too. They were way before their time!!

Stooges and Black Sabbath, and maybe the Spiders from Mars, but Jim Morrison seems to have been sort-of “next level” even compared to the greatest when playing live. I wouldn’t know, was born too late. I’ve heard some good recordings that seem to indicate it, the Copenhagen ones esp are gold, good technical recordings combined with a good performance. Morrison esp seemed to grow erratic in later years.

No band has ever risen to the heights set by the Doors on a good night ! Man, this band knew what entertainment was all about ! And that's not even getting into their "socia polit" observations ! What a band !
