Hello
The Doors Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

Hello, I love you, won't you tell me your name?
Hello, I love you, let me jump in your game
Hello, I love you, won't you tell me your name?
Hello, I love you, let me jump in your game

She's walking down the street
Blind to every eye she meets
Do you think you'll be the guy
To make the queen of the angels sigh?

Hello, I love you, won't you tell me your name?
Hello, I love you, let me jump in your game
Hello, I love you, won't you tell me your name?
Hello, I love you, let me jump in your game

She holds her head so high, like a statue in the sky
Her arms are wicked, and her legs are long
When she moves my brain screams out this song

Sidewalk crouches at her feet
Like a dog that begs for something sweet
Do you hope to make her see, you fool?
Do you hope to pluck this dusky jewel?

Hello, hello, hello, hello, hello, hello, hello

I want you, hello, I need my baby
Hello, hello, hello, hello

Yesterday i got called in the regional directors office and got the payrise,

flash foward half an hour, i got into a bus and saw this smoking hot rock girl all the while this song was playing in my earbuds.

i took a deep breath and said: "thats it, theres your shot"....

i got there.... sat in front of her...... signal her to take out her earbuds......she did and i said: "wanna go grab a coffe with me"?

she said: "not now, but heres my number.....call me".

anyway im writting this so, whatever happens, i could have a nice memory.......

thank you Doors for existing.

peace out!

@toywizard2984

They say guitar is the best instrument of any song, but when it comes to the Doors it’s the keyboard.

@Ethan-mn9jh

That Organ flows.

@jimburdin

i think there are many songs that the keyboard stands out, and with Deep Purple, we got the best of both worlds...

This was my child’s favorite song when she was young. She went to Heaven September 9 2020 to be with The Angels. I miss her so so much. Thank Heavens for music therapy. Keep singing and dancing beautiful Souls. Whoever is reading this know you are so specially essential and LOVED! The Angels told me they love it when We sing and dance!

FreeFlow4Love, I am SO SO SORRY.

@ladyspellbreaker

@@lisavaughn7817 thank you so much beloved Angel. She used to say from the backseat at 3 years old, mama can we please hear the hello I love you song. She had only turned 22 three weeks before leaving this world so tragically & suddenly. I’m just now adjusting from the initial shock & processing 7 stages of grief & loss. Praying for a world vision of Love & Healing 2021.

@alythenut

I’m so sorry
