Two Of The Lucky Ones
The Droge & Summers Blend Lyrics

Swallows dive and turn, trying to catch what we can't see;
Sure ain't the first time; hope it ain't the last time
When all the work is done, by the light of a setting sun;
We see what we've become -- two of the lucky ones.
The wind is gonna blow, trees are gonna sway in kind;
And babe, I know you know... that they don't have to try;
Sure ain't the first time; hope it ain't the last time
We see what we've become -- two of the lucky ones.
For the very first time, there's no words to be found;
Opened up our eyes, there was love all around --
When all the work is done, by the light of a setting sun;
We see what we've become -- two of the lucky ones.
Standing on a hill, staring at a mountain.
The lyrics to The Droge & Summers Blend's song Two Of The Lucky Ones speaks about a moment of self-reflection and gratitude. The song describes two individuals standing on a hill, overlooking a mountain, and watching swallows fly overhead. The imagery is used to illustrate the idea that there is beauty in the world that we cannot always see, and sometimes it takes a moment of quiet observation to truly appreciate it.
The lyrics suggest that the individuals have been through a lot of work and have come out on the other side. They reflect on the fact that they're fortunate to be able to enjoy the moment and each other's company. The chorus reinforces their gratitude, with the repeated line "We see what we've become -- two of the lucky ones." The song highlights the importance of taking a moment to slow down and appreciate the world around us, and the people in our lives. The final verse includes the idea that the two individuals have had an eye-opening experience that has revealed love all around them.
