Kelly, the creative force behind the band, has said in interviews that the lineup would almost definitely change in order to tour successfully. Specifically, he cited Andriano's role in Alkaline Trio as making the bass player's availability for touring limited. According to the band's MySpace, the current lineup consists of Kelly, Hennessy, Eli Caterer (Smoking Popes), and Chris McCaughan (The Lawrence Arms).
The band has so far released one EP on Red Scare, God Don't Make No Trash or Up Your Ass With Broken Glass. Released in 2004, it has a unique trait in that all the songs, as well as EP itself, have two different names. Unicornography, The Falcon's debut full-length, was released on September 26, 2006.

Happening again
Ugly boys on ugly trains doing ugly things
Stow away low
Down with the crew
Down in the galley like good girls do
Take out the trash
Pour in the poison
Try not to drown
Try not to yell
Try not to cry
This isn't hell
This is goodbye
I'm like a demon
Trapped in a man
That I'm killing right where he stands
This is disease
You get by the can
These shitty pages
Are all that i have
Take out the trash
Show her the town
Pour in the poison
Try not to drown
Try not to yell
Try not to cry
This isn't hell
This is goodbye
Take out the trash
Show her the town
Pour in the poison
Yeah we all drown
Try not to yell
Try not to cry
This isn't hell
This is goodbye
This is goodbye
The Falcon's song "The Trash" is a melancholic and bone-chilling track that captures the feeling of being trapped in one's own skin. The lyrics describe a bleak and hopeless existence, where the singer is forced to do things they don't want to do and live a life they don't enjoy. The opening lines "Shit eating grin, happening again" give us a glimpse into the singer's state of mind, where they are almost numb to the situation they find themselves in. The words "Ugly boys on ugly trains doing ugly things" suggests a sense of self-loathing and despair, where the singer is surrounded by people and situations that they find repulsive.
The lines "Take out the trash, show her the town, pour in the poison, try not to drown" refer to the singer trying to cope with their situation by indulging in self-destructive behavior. They try to fill the emptiness inside them by surrounding themselves with toxic people and substances in an attempt to forget their troubles. The lines "I'm like a demon trapped in a man, that I'm killing right where he stands" suggest that the singer is aware of their destructive behavior and the damage it's causing. They feel like they are destroying themselves from within.
The final lines "This isn't hell, this is goodbye" suggest that the singer is reaching a breaking point and is ready to move on from their current situation. They are ready to say goodbye to their old life and embark on a new journey, even if it means leaving everything behind. Overall, "The Trash" is a poignant and introspective track that highlights the struggles of living a life that feels meaningless and devoid of purpose.
