Try voicing to the BOARD AND MANAGEMENT OF GLOBAL RADIO, LONDON, UK that music, and the power of radio are gifts to be shared; not used as weapons, or as a personal avenue to deliver pain and to destroy -
This song always takes me back to the first time I heard it: Warm summer nights, and a wonderful place I had found where I enjoyed the company of those from around the world - all of us brought together by that glorious, invisible power of radio and our mutual appreciation for music. Being in remission, and after a long and challenging medical regimen, I was very much in need of the healing calm and peace that good music brings. Global Radio became my oasis, a safe respite, a temporary escape, and I often wrote to express how much it, how much they, meant to me. I thought they were music people. I thought they understood. But instead there came from several presenters within a certain circle of friends subtle remarks, hurtful pranks, mocking, ridicule and insults directed at my beliefs, my homeland, and my person, which unbelievably continue to this day on sites which will publish quotes from staged interviews and daily, self-composed press. WHY? Because the one show I personally chose NOT to listen to was hosted by an individual who is diagnostically OFF, who cannot bear to be ignored, who becomes angered when they sense they have been left out, who organizes listener feedback campaigns through their public relations agency to boost their own station image of popularity, while working in the same manner to eliminate listeners who choose not to tune in to their show, accessing and abusing listeners through the shows of their colleagues. Someone who directs every conversation toward themselves, has no regard for policy or principle, is willing to do whatever it takes to satisfy wayward persons on the upper levels to gain a favoured position over others, is obsessed with being the center of attention. Someone who, through employment access, systematically eroded and ultimately destroyed everything I (and others) perceived and positively treasured about Global, it’s programming, it’s people. While it seems rather obvious, then, why she has a negative affect on co-workers and listeners, and it explains why she is universally disliked, WHAT EXPLAINS GLOBAL'S EMPLOYMENT FOR ALMOST A DECADE OF SUCH A SICK, DAMAGING AND DIVISIVE INDIVIDUAL? (Could it be BLACKMAIL?)
I have never come across a radio station that hires and retains individuals like this. I never had cause to view people in radio as being of this caliber, or known of a Board of Directors so out of touch as to allow their presenters to represent their family of stations thus, demonstrating on a Global scale, year after year, how meaningless music and the Global Radio audience (as people, not numbers) are to them. Within 24-48 hours, the Global station banners will likely appear on her social needia, but such insincere support never lasts because selfishness rules supreme. There is no denying that birds of a feather flock together - And at Global Radio the false, selfish, uncaring, cold and deceptive find a permanent roost.
Seems fitting, I suppose, that I first heard “Buena Fortuna Jack” from the film “My Name is Nobody” on a Global Radio station (Classic FM) where I had no choice but to ultimately accept that listening to a Global station is not at all about 'music', it's about 'them' - These are not 'music people', or even 'people people', but commercial profiteers grandstanding with the obligatory charity work done at year's end for maximum tax advantage. Do listeners matter? Do they really ‘cater to their listeners’ as they claim? Absolutely Not. It may sound nice, something you want to believe, but Global Radio's managerial decisions and actions belie those words. Perhaps it's the service some receive behind closed doors as we are led to believe. Do you suppose the other Directors and their wives know? At Global Radio a presenter is permitted to use the station, its staff, property and listeners to advance personal interests with snobbish impunity and a sneer, while targeting the listener base to hurt and alienate ON AIR for the joy and sense of achievement it brings them.
She is full of hypocrisy, deception, and quick, well-rehearsed excuses under a working girl's distracting outward appearance. On the exterior we see the dramatic portrayal of an innocent, the sad little girl, the victim sobbing for support when cornered, ‘can’t understand why she is so hated’, while beneath the surface she is dirty, plotting, divisive, prompting others to fight her battles and keep her involvement hidden, predictably putting on the showy display of generosity and selling herself through suggestive speech and revealing dress to improve a damaged workplace reputation or gain something she’s after. Despite the tender display of childish innocence, or conversely casting herself in a star role as the "strong" ‘team leader’ in order to gain the center stage, she is far from either, and I find it difficult to put into words the depth of my (rightfully bitter) feelings toward what she so utterly and selfishly accomplished for herself and for Global Radio. Poor fools.
When it comes to selecting a radio station, listeners have hundreds of choices. It seems obvious, then, that keeping each loyal listeners is easier than attracting a new one as a result of costly (in more ways than one) presenters looking for vast media outlets with their own brand, profit, and personal agenda stamped “Priority One”. Persons like her, or those who hire her kind, do not bring out the best in others. Such persons are damaging to relationships and everything they touch. They breed problems and conflict where e'er they go.
Music, and that glorious, invisible power of radio accomplish the most good when they are shared and used to uplift, not as weapons by a greedy, power-hungry addict to cause pain and to destroy. No one has that right. But try telling that to the Directors of Global Radio, London, UK.

This and once upon a time in America soundtrack are just beautiful pieces of sound. It’s too bad he isn’t as much of a big name today as other composers. Everyone should endure this music just to hear pure beauty
@landonhagan450
It feels unintentional, but I like the use of the word "endure" here. Morricone's music is often emotional and moving in a way that can be incredibly intense, almost an ordeal in a way.
