The single was released on Columbia Records and became a hit, peaking at #33 on the Billboard Hot 100[1] and hitting the Top Ten on the regional LA charts.[2]

The BLOB made an indelible blotchy pattern where ever it oozed about.
Relatively easy to track but when in the sewer system a different story. It seemed to vanish without trace.
But a scent of formaldehyde mixed with asphalt gave it away.

This movie was filmed in 1957 and released in 1958. The police have 1957 Plymouths in this,black with red interior.
I hate modern horror movies,they are just disgusting and gory,these old ones were fun.
