Things are bound to eventually come to an end, no matter what.

The solution to fixing emotional pain cannot always be scientifically proven or solved.

I wanted to keep you and hide you from the sun
I wanted to protect you from the harmful things in the world that can hurt you.

But no one could reach you
Unfortunately, I wasn't able to keep you completely safe from the world's harm and pain.

You say I'm a black hole
You think that I suck in everything around me and don't let anything escape me.

Sigularity
A reference to the scientific concept of the point of no return in a black hole.

My own supernova
A metaphorical reference to the explosion of a star into light and energy.

A blazing blind catastrophe
A disastrous event that is both uncontrollable and blindingly bright.

And for once I was a star
There was a time when I felt like I shined brightly and was important to someone.

A long time before that
But it's been a while since I felt important or special.

Somebody's sun
I used to give warmth and happiness to someone else's life, but not anymore.

This is not a test
Real life is happening, this isn't some practice run or a test.

If love is not the answer
If love isn't the solution or the answer to our problems.

Then maybe I misunderstood Oh the question
I might have completely misinterpreted what I thought the problem or question was, if love isn't the answer.

Oh there must be someway out of this
There has to be a solution, a way to make things right or better.

We stand in a circle
We are all in this together.

We are connected and supporting each other physically and emotionally.

There's talk of a comet
There's a rumor or a possibility of something exciting happening soon.

Over moon and land
Something big, unknown and exciting is coming and it's going to affect all parts of the world, including outer space.

The sand has run out of the glass
Time is running out, the clock is ticking and time is limited.

But enough of these pointless noises
Let's stop wasting time and energy on useless or meaningless things.

If hope is not the answer then maybe I misunderstood Oh the question
If hope isn't enough or isn't the solution to our problem, maybe I've completely misinterpreted what the actual issue is.

Because there must be someway
There's absolutely no way that there's no solution or hope.

I want it so so..
I want a solution or an answer so badly that it's painful.

Well enough of these final nothings
Let's stop talking about meaningless things that won't contribute to the real problem.

There's no time to reconsider
We can't waste time overthinking or doubting ourselves, we need to act now.

So love was not the answer but maybe I misunderstood the question
Love might not have been the solution, but maybe the question or problem wasn't actually about love.

Because it must be somewhere
The solution or answer must exist somewhere, somehow.

I read it somewhere
I have hope because I have read somewhere or believe somewhere deep inside that a solution exists.

There's always someway
No matter how difficult the problem, there's always a solution or a way out.
