Lights Out
The Friday Night Boys Lyrics

She is no where to be found,
Crazy girls just walk right in around
Woah Oh, Woah Oh
I played her game for long enough
To see how crazy she would become
Cant make up her mind on where to run
Just say you don't know
But you know I don't care
Falling for a rockstar will get you nowhere
Woah Oh
Since I might forget you
I'm sleeping on the floor,
On the floor to the bed room now
So you better turn the lights out
The second change you figure out
Every word that she'd never tell
She doesn't stand a chance she screams out loud
Woah Oh Oh Ohh
So break down
Did you think that I could tell
Letting go of every word to make this right
Just say you don't know
But you know I don't care
Falling for a rockstar will get you nowhere
Woah Oh
Since I might forget you
I'm sleeping on the floor,
On the floor to the bedroom now
So you better turn the lights out
Just say you don't know
But you know I don't care
Falling for a rockstar will get you no where
Woah Oh
Since I might forget you
I'm sleeping on the floor
On the floor to the bedroom now
So you better turn the lights out
(So break down
Did you think that I could tell
Letting go of every word to make this right)
Word to make this right
Oh Oh
So you better turn the lights out
So you better turn the lights out
The Friday Night Boys' song Lights Out is about a tumultuous relationship with a girl who is indecisive and unpredictable. The singer sings about how he has played her game for too long and can no longer keep up with her craziness. He knows that falling for a rockstar like her will get him nowhere but still can't seem to let go. The lyrics "Just say you don't know, but you know I don't care" show that he is aware of her intentions and is tired of playing along. He decides to sleep on the floor rather than in the bed with her, as a symbol of his detachment from the relationship. The repeated "turn the lights out" at the end of the song suggests that he wants to leave the relationship behind and move on.
