1. Jayceon Terrell Taylor (born November 29, 1979 in Compton, California, United States), better known by his stage name Game, formerly known as The Game, is an American Grammy Award winning gangsta rapper signed to Aftermath Entertainment through his own label Black Wall Street Records, with which he founded with his half brother Big Fase 100. He rose to fame in 2005 with the success of his debut album, The Documentary, and his two Grammy nominations. Since then he has released several other critically acclaimed albums, 2006's Doctor's Advocate and 2008's LAX. The RED Album was released August 23, 2011. All of his four albums debuted at #1 on the Billboard Top 100, and he is widely considered to be a driving force in bringing back the West Coast hip hop scene and competing with many of his East Coast counterparts.
Studying various influential rap albums, Game developed a strategy to become a rapper himself and with help from Big Fase, they founded The Black Wall Street Records. The label originally featured such artists as Glasses Malone, Vita, and Nu Jerzey Devil, along with Game himself. His stage name was coined by his grandmother. Game first gained prominence when he attended a hip-hop summit hosted by Russell Simmons and Louis Farrakhan, releasing his first mixtape You Know What It Is Vol. 1 in 2002, followed by a record deal with the independent label, Get Low Recordz owned by JT the Bigga Figga. Originally Sean Combs of Bad Boy Records was going to sign him to his label, but Game's mixtape found the attention of famed producer Dr. Dre, who signed him to Aftermath Entertainment in 2003. In October 2004, he released his first album Untold Story through Get Low Recordz, which sold over 82,000 copies within its first three months. The album featured artists like Sean T, Young Noble (of the Outlawz), and JT the Bigga Figga. Game also appeared on various mixtapes hosted by DJ's such as DJ Kayslay, DJ Whoo Kid, and DJ Clue. Game also released a second mixtape You Know What It Is Vol. 2 through his own record label and appeared on the video game NBA Live 2004 on a song produced by Fredwreck called "Can't Stop Me". On January 24th, 2011, he released a mixtape entitled, "Purp & Patron."

Niggas is moving on up
And I know Weezy personally
Halle motherfucking lujah
All my real niggas I salute ya
All the bad bitches, I'ma run throguh ya
Hop in my holy ghost, hallelujah
Hop in my holy ghost, hallelujah
Damn, damn, damn, damn
Heaven's prays, all I'm tryna do, praise him, praise I'm
Heaven's prays, all I'm wanna do, praise him, my lord
Nigga I ain't pastor Mason yo
Nigga patting rhyme, peach Ciroc, Ace and y'all?
And since I got good taste and all
This for all the bad bitches couldn't wait to get they braces off
I know we in church, and the way that I'm thinking wrong
But inside the bible is the perfect way to sneak my phone
But I don't wanna do that, I came to take the service in
And stare at all the women who brought they Louis purses in
Bad bitches in here, forgive me for my sins
I ain't meant to walk inside the church cursing again
I wanna live righteous and you know I love Jesus
But you can't catch the holy ghost in the Prius
Halle motherfucking lujah
All my real niggas I salute ya
All the bad bitches, I'ma run throguh ya
Hop in my holy ghost, hallelujah
Damn, damn, damn, damn
Hop in my holy ghost, hallelujah
Damn, damn, damn, damn
Heaven's prays
Lookin' 'round the church like what that nigga doing here
He prolly told on somebody, posed to be doing years
But who am I to judge a nigga
AR don't wanna go to church, I can't budge the nigga
But I love the nigga, so I'ma go for both us
And put these G Star slacks with these Louie loafers
He rather sit outside and listen to Hova
But the service jumping, the pastor serving my mimosas
And all this ass in here, how do I focus
Collection plate bulging damn pastor you the coldest
My envelope stay swollen
So I'ma count my blessings now, somebody hold this
Halle motherfucking lujah
All my real niggas I salute ya
All the bad bitches, I'ma run through ya
Hop in my holy ghost, hallelujah
Damn, damn, damn, damn
Hop in my holy ghost, hallelujah
Damn, damn, damn, damn
Heaven's prays
Staring in the row behind me, man these fat hoes is too cheap
Ain't paying they tithes, taking up 2 seats
And look at God's house, pack full of sinners
With the sun ride service, now they back for the dinners
Yeah I know the chicken good but your soul ain't
And your outfit clean but your nose ain't
And I suppose ain't nobody a liar in here
If that was true, the whole church would be on fire in here
I'm so glad we have a choir in here
To wake me up every time I get tired in here
And one thing's for sure, gotta praise the Lord
'Cause when I went to Undefeated, they still had my fours
Fell to the floor like
Halle motherfucking lujah
All my real niggas I salute ya
All the bad bitches, I'ma run through ya
Hop in my holy ghost, hallelujah
Damn, damn, damn, damn
Hop in my holy ghost, hallelujah
Damn, damn, damn, damn
Heaven's prays
In The Game's song "Hallelujah," he pays tribute to his friend who has passed on - 'RIP to my nigga George Jefferson', which is a reference to Sherman Hemsley's character on the TV show "The Jeffersons." The line 'Niggas is moving on up' is also a reference to the show's theme song.
The song also makes mentions of his admiration for bad bitches and his love for Jesus. He confesses to being aware of his wrong-thinking in church but also expresses his love and desire to praise the lord. The chorus, 'Halle motherfucking lujah, All my real niggas I salute ya, All the bad bitches, I'ma run through ya, Hop in my holy ghost, hallelujah' portrays the idea of the ultimate celebration in church.
The line 'And put these G Star slacks with these Louie loafers' seems to reference the rapper's personal style preference in church.
The Game and Jamie Foxx have collaborated on several songs together, including "With You," "Around the World," and "Hallelujah."
"Hallelujah" samples the choir section of Jackson Sisters' 1976 song “I Believe in Miracles."
The song was included on The Game's mixtape OKE (2013) and later on his album Jesus Piece (2012).
The song received critical acclaim and was praised as an unconventional hip-hop song with an interesting fusion of genres.
The music video features The Game and a choir performing in a church, with appearances from Jamie Foxx and Big Boy.
The Game has stated that he recorded the song in a church and that the experience of recording in a religious space inspired the song's theme.
The song has been described as an ode to West Coast hip-hop, with nods to classic gangsta rap as well as gospel music.
Chords: Currently unavailable.
