We aspire to achieve greatness, we believe that the possibilities are limitless and we can achieve anything we set our minds to.

Walk down the road on any path we choose
We are free to choose our own path, to carve our own way in life, regardless of the obstacles that may lie ahead.

But then something changed, now days just aren’t the same
Something happened that changed everything, life is no longer the same and we struggle to cope with the change.

I’m feeling so empty like part of me has been removed
The change has left us feeling incomplete, as if a part of us has been taken away, leaving us feeling lost and aimless.

My youth is getting older
As time passes, we become older and less youthful, leaving us with a sense of nostalgia for our younger days.

It got left out in the bitter cold
Despite the fact that our youth is a part of us, it feels as though it has been left to suffer in harsh, unpleasant conditions.

Now I put it on the back burner where it doesn’t belong
We try to ignore our youth and pretend that it doesn't matter, even though it is an integral part of who we are and should not be ignored.

Where did I go wrong?
We question ourselves and wonder where we went astray, leading to this sense of regret and longing for what we've lost.

Let me stop to ask the question
We pause to take stock of our lives and ask ourselves important questions about our choices and the direction we are headed in.

Will I ever get the chance to repeat?
We wonder if we will ever have the opportunity to relive our past and make different choices, to see if things could have turned out differently.

I feel this more and more everyday
The regret and nostalgia we feel becomes more intense with each passing day, as we come to terms with the fact that we can never go back to who we once were.

Take me back to when I used to believe
We long to return to a time when we had faith in the world and its possibilities, before the harsh realities of life set in.

Nothing could prepare you, but we try our best
We acknowledge that life is unpredictable and can be difficult, but we do our best to prepare ourselves for whatever may come our way.

Failure upon failure, what happens next?
Despite our best efforts, we often experience failure and disappointment, leaving us to wonder what the future holds and whether things will ever get better.

Nothing’s ever easy and life still goes on
We come to accept that life is hard and that challenges will continue to come our way, but we must carry on regardless.

Don’t stop push on before you become withdrawn
We urge ourselves not to give up on life, to keep striving and pushing forward, lest we become isolated and disconnected from the world around us.

I’ve become withdrawn
Despite our best efforts, we may still find ourselves becoming more and more isolated from the world, turning inward and shutting everyone else out.

My innocence is gone
As we grow older and experience more of life's harsh realities, we lose our innocence and the sense of wonder that once characterized our outlook on the world.

I feel it slipping away from me
We feel our innocence slipping away from us, as if we are losing something that we can never get back.

Do you remember when we were free?
We long to relive a time when we were carefree and didn't have to worry about the responsibilities of adulthood, when life was simpler and easier.

I’ve stood up on that ledge, and I know what you see
We have experienced the darkest moments of despair and know what it's like to feel like giving up altogether.

You’re looking over the edge and wanting to leap
We see others struggling as we once did, and we can empathize with their desire to give up and end it all.

I’ve written every word and expressed all my concerns
Through our art or other means of expression, we have tried to capture our emotions and communicate them to others, hoping to find some solace or understanding.

You’re losing that part of yourself, but it wasn’t meant to be
We see others losing their sense of self and their identity, but we recognize that sometimes this is just a natural part of the process of growing up and moving on in life.
