Lock up your doubt
Ride out!
All five are here for you
Fight now
Bury you hurt
Ride out!
How come it's always up to me and you?
Neon
Lights in our eyes
Fear us!
We're not afraid of you!
Black out!
Tear us apart
Riot!
We fightin here for you!
How come it's always up to me and you?
The Ghost of a Thousand's song Up To You is a high-energy punk rock anthem that urges listeners to lock up their doubts and ride out any obstacles they may face. The lyrics are a call to action, rallying listeners to fight and bury their hurt, all while reminding them that they are not alone in their struggles. The chorus repeats the phrase "How come it's always up to me and you?" as a reminder that everyone has a role to play in overcoming adversity and standing up for what they believe in.
The verses of the song feature vivid imagery, including neon lights and riots, to paint a picture of a world full of chaos and danger. However, the message of the song remains one of hope and resilience in the face of that chaos. The repetition of the phrase "ride out" throughout the song serves as a reminder to keep moving forward and not give up in the face of adversity.
Overall, Up To You is a powerful and inspiring punk rock song that encourages listeners to take action and stand up for themselves and their beliefs in the face of adversity. The song serves as a reminder that we all have a responsibility to fight for what we believe in and to support each other on that journey.

These dudes had a sound all their own but lumped in to scene bands just like Deftones and metalcore. Sure they existed at a point when the scene around them were generic af, but they stood out. Miss them more than any other "2000s" band
